I have been going for six months and I feel 5X stronger and the hip & knee pain that I've had for 25 years (and for which I've done my share of PT) has almost completely resolved. The monthly cost for group classes is right, given that if they were located in a big city they could probably charge that much for a single personal training session with kettlebells. The classes themselves are personalized as much as possible--I've been in classes with 20+ year-old guys trying to get jacked and 60+ year-old women working to regain their mobility--Kerry deftly manages to make sure we all get what we need. Morning classes tend to be older students; evening classes tend to be younger but I've not felt out of place in either (well, I once tried one of their kick boxing classes but that is NOT my thing! My fellow students seemed to enjoy it though). Kerry & Greg are certified through Strong First which is apparently a big deal. I commute about 15 minutes 2-3 times a week to get there (not something I've been wont to do in my life). I'm especially glad to be able to support a high-quality, local, and family-owned business rather than a big fitness chain.

The lady at the door who was supposed to help the one teenager watch all these kids just watched my son cry and never helped him! There was no games or organization or group activities! Just absolute chaos!!! Absolutely awful! I would NEVER trust them watching a child at open gym! And don't let them lie to you- there is no supervision!!! And no activities- group or organized!!! The website lies! Absolutely awful! Also, absolutely no social distancing going on- kids on top of each other, wrestling each other, jumping on each other, etc.

The gym is employed with chiropractic students. This is a great outlet for anyone who needs a trainer or some fitness/nutritional advice. The gym itself is decent sized and has all the fitness machines and free weights you'll need to get your heart and muscles pumping. I've been going to Max for 2 years now and have had nothing but a good experience.
