The gym itself is decent sized and has all the fitness machines and free weights you'll need to get your heart and muscles pumping. I have doctor's report stating that I can't go to work and I am not allowed to stand for more than 15 minutes. I called and talk to the manager and he just wanted to argue and tell me there is no way to cancel. He is more worried about money. Than he is worried about people. I have a doctor's note saying I can't work out or train for 6 months and they will not honor it. The manager just wanted to argue and tell me that I am not hurt and I am lying about it. I would not go here or get a membership. A horrible time with manger and staff. Nasty

The beauty of M/Body is that they really offer everything, including personal training and some options for getting workouts in around normal class times. HIIT classes were (and still are) my absolute favorite, and the classes here are exciting and station based. I will never take barre again based on my experience here, but that has more to do with me and nothing to do with the quality of the classes - pretty sure this is one of the best barre experiences in the area...I just think all barre experiences are criminal and TORTURE. I digress. If you're looking for a snappy, clean facility in a perfect location, M/Body is for you. They consistently run specials on pricing and are especially good to their first timers. There were two (still there) available before PF opened. They both charge insane monthly prices...for out of towners. One of like $65 and actually, i think the other is too. I could be wrong, but I'm not far off. I pay for my membership in Idaho, whyyyy would I wanna pay $65 for a 3 week holiday? One gym used to help me out bc im KIKD OF a local? I grew up there and visit often. Last time I went to sign up tho...I was there for 3 weeks and yeah, no, the were not gonna give me a deal like past times. So, as sad as it made me, bc I always try to support local before these huge places, PF had just opened. I'm on disability. So like most, we have to watch what we spend. $65 for less than a month is just not in the budget especially with how everything is so expensive anymore. PF is like $15. Why would I turn that down and especially when just there visiting? Is the PF the best? Nah, but it's pretty good and they have 2x the equipment that other locations have. This is probably why they unfortunately have a monopoly. If I lived there, I would probably join one of the local gyms bc as a regular local...prices aren't THAT bad. I will return to PF each time tho bc I just go back for 3 weeks usually...sometimes longer, but that's rare anymore. The staff here is nice. The one woman tho that's there like...all the time..is a tad intense. She should respectfully, tone it down a bit. There's no reason for that intensity. The second you walk in... SIR! SIR! I'm please scan in! When literally...everyone does haha. It's so weird. Her intensity is weird compared to the other staff members who are all very chill and nice. I'm not saying she's mean, but yeah, she seems to take things a tad too seriously. Who walks into a gym anyway without checking in and if you're there to tour the place...most respectable people will always stop at the desk first. You kinda have to here bc it's RIGHT there when you walk in. Ok. I do love the equipment. They have a really nice variety of machines and weights. Great hack squat rack, great leg press, 3 smith machines, some amazing core machines. And tons of weights to choose from. Probably could use another bench, but eh. This is a corporate place so complaining about that...it'll never reach the top lol. Their water fountains are THE WORST EVER! When they opened I figured..ok they're new, this is a small mistake...they'll get it fixed. Nope. I worked out there for 3 weeks this summer and you can't get a drink from the fountains. You hit the handle and it trickles out. You'd have to literally put your WHOLE MOUTH on it to get a drink hahaha! They have the thing where you can fill up your bottles which is cool, but yeah, if you just want a sip...forget about it bc it's not happening. Hopefully that'll get replaced one day. For a new gym, I'm surprised it hadn't been fixed yet. Maybe by the next time I go they will have had replaced them or fixed that issue. Gym is super clean. The staff stays on top of it too. Tons of respect for employees who take care of the gym especially when there are members who have zero respect for other members. My gym here in Idaho is the worst with that and the staff fails to do any true cleaning. That's why no matter what gym I'm at, I always wipe down the machines before and after use. I als re-rack the weights I use. People here in Idaho gym...NEVER do! PF in Geneva, they mostly do rerack them. This place isn't huge by any means. It's a decent size tho. However, PF is super affordable, offers wonderful equipment, nice staff, clean place...and it's brand new .. with that ..: comes crowds. Again, not a huge place so when this place fills up it FILLS. UP! Just find a time in the day best for you and when crowds are half of what they are at around 5:30-6pm which I know is a popular time for those getting off work. Locker rooms. Very small. So if you booty ass nekkid in there...you have no room to move around hahaha. Everyone who walks in will see you. There's a stall in the bathroom and a changing stall as well, but yeah the main locker room is teeny tiny. It's very very clean tho. Again, absolutely love that this place takes care of the gym when selfish members won't. Even without those shitty members, this places stays on top of keeping this place so clean. They have tanning beds and massage chairs that are for the members who spend the $25 a month. I don't bother bc I'm not there for super long. Plus, my membership at my gym, I get all that stuff. One thing I sooooo SO wish PF had at locations is... fitness classes! Not sure why they don't offer them..not just at Geneva, but anywhere. I love Pound Fitness, Spin classes, and others.
