He didn't know me from a can of paint and my first day walking in with my son, he took the time to explain what the facility was all about... introduce me to staff and get my son in a league within a days time. He has the right mentality in today's world of tech, gadgets and lazy kids... He has brought New life to the word "Pick Up Basketball" Our kids are playing basketball daily! They are being physical daily!!!! His focus is on the kids , their development and most programs are available at No Cost. It bothers me to read a negative review of this place because I can see first hand what the venue and environment has done and is doing for my son. His confidence, technique, BBall IQ, network, friend circle and overall game has grown and improved. He puts the work in and shows up everyday. If by chance the courts are being used he heads over to the turf for a half hour or so and works on conditioning. I challenge anybody writing a bad review to show me a better environment centrally focused on kids development and hoops. Nobody is dragging a volleyball net or playing pickle ball on the courts!!!! it's Hoops from the minute they open til the time they close. I know you can't please everybody and there will be challenges and mishaps every now and then I'm realistic to know we are all human but if you walk into this place there's an energy that's happening that you want your kid to be a part of if they like hoops. As a professional in the basketball industry for over 25 years I know what I'm talking bout. Before you can hoop at any level you must have the confidence in your ability as a player. The commitment this place has to making sure the environment you step in is committed, controlled, motivating and educational is unmatched. This park is right off Bristol Road on an old air base and you couldn't possibly miss it. It's a spot that will please people of all sorts, as there is quite a bit to do. There is a pretty long track that runs along the perimeter of the place, with exercise spots along the way. I believe it says it's about 2.5 miles, which is great if you're trying to keep some accountability. You'll even get to see the abandoned neighborhood through some of the fencing as you walk, which is kind of cool to see. This place also has a dog park within it, as well as a huge playground. It's a great spot to bring the kids, but make them go to the bathroom beforehand. The restrooms are locked for the winter and the porta potties aren't in great shape. If you find yourself wondering across the street, there is another park (Munro) that offers another playground and a place for the skateboarders to let loose. If you know what geocaching is, you will also be able to partake in some of that. Most people I encounter absolutely love this park. Great for runners, bladers, and bikers. For me personally, I enjoy places that are a little more quiet and have nature trails. This place works though.

They had a horse with strangles and they didn't take any safety precautions besides letting that horse rot in a filthy stall. All other boarders were still going into the park spreading the sickness. Multiple times my horse was in with no hay and water and I asked Marc why my horse was in a stall and he said "oh it was a mistake" but he was brought in for a week in the heat of summer by himself. I never found out why as Marc kept lying to me not knowing I was there everyday. I gave a 2 month notice that I was leaving and Marc got an attitude with me and tried to charge me more than the regular monthly board. I heard him talking badly about me when he didn't know I was nearby. Inheard him talking badly about a lot of boarders. Has an overload of feral cats, won't spay/neuter or give them basic vaccines. Could be a laid back fun place, but it needs new owners. Photo is the average filthy stall they stand in, not even the worst of it like when they're trapped inside in the winter.

We parked in a nearby shopping center's lot across the street from Sesame Place, at a medical office. Despite being on a different property, we were approached by the Hotworx owner in a very aggressive manner. She yelled at us and threatened to call the police, even though we were not parked on her property. While I understand the importance of managing parking, the owners approach was unwarranted and created a very uncomfortable situation for my family. This was especially upsetting with my children present. I believe that a wellness-focused business should reflect those values in all interactions. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite, and it left a negative impression. Because of this, I will never go to Hotworx for this reason.The "owner" is incredibly defensive, aggressive , and unprofessional. Also, to see such an aggressive response from a business that promotes wellness. It raises the question of what kind of wellness is truly being offered if respect and kindness is absent.
