Company owner: Jamie Anderson Address: (known but will wait to reveal until my own police investigation into fraud has been concluded). He has scammed a lot of people, including elderly ladies and single mothers etc. My own personal experience: He took the best part of £1.5k for a deposit for shutters that were meant to be fitted in early August 2024. Received communication that our order had been placed and was ready for shipment a few days later. After 9 weeks of waiting we received an email explaining that our shipment was stuck citing the Red Sea conflict and that there will be a delay for a further 4 weeks. Since then had no contact from them and all forms of communication were shut (ie no replys to emails, Phone line for business/ personal mobile are dead etc). I have now found out that the business is going to be liquidated like the other 6 companies he/his partner (Miss Claudine Baker) have owned in the last several years. My aim is to get my own money back .....but at the very least I'm going to make sure this guy never trades again. Please share this on all social media platforms citing this guys name and his business in the Brighton and Henfield area).

They have taken £1700 from me and never delivered the shutters promised will not answer the phone, email, and closed the business down less than a week after we paid them and reopened the same day as 'simply blinding'. Who also dont answer the phone. They've done this to multiple people. Trading standards are aware and looking into it as well as informing companies house, that these people are taking money not delivering and opening and closing 'phoenix companies' to get away with taking cash and never repaying or delivering. Scam artists. Avoid

He resigns from several and puts Claudine Baker in as a director, here and there, I guess in an attempt to distance himself? His last one Shutters of London ended up owing thousands of pounds to people, the address has defaulted to companies house as it went bust and he hasn't filed his accounts. So now he's got away without paying any of his customers, and reactivated an dormant company called Simply Blinding, to start all over again. It's 'simply' something...and disgusting that they can keep getting away with it. You only have to search companies house with his name to see the trail of destruction. Please read reviews on all his companies to see the issues. Please note that many of his good reviews are apparently friends/family, reviewing on his behalf to improve results.
