I have recently arranged for a furniture collection with this shop. The van arrived late without any calls or messages, and ofcourse no apology whatsoever.
Then over at the garage, they were offered a bed, mattresses, children table and chair etc in good condition. But they rejected almost all items based on condition, and by that, they meant they are not new. Some of the items are of high original value. Eg, one mattress costed two grand as brand new, and now with one little faint mark on one side (and no mark on the other side). Who would give away a two grand mattress in new condition? And for another item, the guy didn't even bother to look, just asked me if it's completely new or not? I said no, then he rejected it.
I can imagine most, if not all, "new" furnitures they can get would be of very low quality at the first place. I've never been to their shop, but i can imagine it's full of tat that they try to pass off as new and sell at high prices. I wonder who would buy from them.
If you want to donate to this shop, think twice unless you have a lot of time to waste.
Honestly if i can give no star, i would. read more
