I do credit Aquatots to giving her a great beginning. And I loved all the teachers and the managers back then. Now I have a great niece that has been going there for over a year and everything seemed to be going pretty well until a couple of months ago when her mother felt like they had been disrespected and mistreated by a manager there. I understand she was singled out to have to leave the swimming area between classes because of the starting time of her next class time. I also understand that they had never seen that before, and never had it ever happened to them before. I think it was more about the way the manager treated them about the incident. It took a few months for me to write the review because you try to overlook these things, but after reading a couple of reviews that had the same content I was pushed to write the review. We didn't want to take her out because she wanted to stay at the swim school because of friends she had met there. I think you need to take some time to re-educate some of the staff on how to treat people.

In the last 3 years I've seen so much growth and confidence in her, and this is one of the many reasons that keeps us coming back. The staff here is incredible, they all seem to love their jobs and are so engaged with the children. My daughter has had many instructors as she had moved up and they all remember her by name, these personal touches are refreshing and much appreciated. Goldfish has done a really great job since COVID, they spray down chairs, changing rooms, bathrooms ect. In between classes, have reduced class sizes, barriers, and strict in times before lessons.

By the fourth session, she was jumping in without hesitation and her confidence was unbelievable. My four year old, I tried so many times to teach him and nothing stuck. Again four sessions in and he is so confident and his skills have improved immeasurably. We have a different staff helper each time and each one of them is so incredible we haven't had a bad instructor yet. I love that a workout can be modified for specific needs. I pick the class times that work for me. My trainer Jen is absolutely amazing! She has helped me with food plans & has been a huge impact on my lifestyle change. It's been less than 4 months & I have lost 26 lbs & gone down a size in clothes. It took about 6 months but I found it became an important daily part of my life. In January of 2018 I followed my Chief to Kensington Valley Crossfit. Everything at KV is top notch from the equipment and facility to the coaching. But what I like most about the gym is the members are not $$$$ signs. It's not uncommon to hear "tell your friend just to come in", "just check someone in for class" or "what can we work out to get you to keep coming". My own personal gains aside, it is refreshing to see an atmosphere that focuses more on individual growth than the monetary growth of the business. In the end, I think the investment in the individual will provide Kensington Valley CrossFit with far a greater return than imagined.
