Let me save you money. I would not recommend this school for any child learning to swim. I truly wanted to love this program, but there was too many things about this program that were problematic. 1) NOT EFFECTIVE: I spent about $800 and my child still can't swim. My child was in this program for 7 months. Granted, he has made minuscule progress. Nothing close to being able to swim. This program is designed to be progressive, when your child reaches a milestones they progresses to the next level. However, most of the class is spent acclimating my child to the water by dunking him underwater. It's a 30 minute class. The downside being it's a group setting, so how much time your kid gets training is based on how many kids are in the class. So 5 or 6 kids show up, your kids gets maybe 5 minute of attention from the instructor unless you're in the pool with them taking the initiative to follow along with the instructor. We stayed as long as we did, because we liked the instructor my child had, His name was Mateo. But overall, the way the program progressed over several months it still wasn't worth the money. 2) POOL ISSUES and LATE NOTICE: The pool has issues often. Resulting in cancelled classes. Several times a month, mostly the beginning of the week. Seemingly mostly Mondays. I'm thankful they regularly check to ensure safety for the children. The problem is sometimes I'm in the parking lot or almost there from my hour commute, met with a voicemail 20 minutes or less before the class starts letting me know it's cancelled due to pool related complications. On a good day 30 minutes notice. The pool belongs to a gym, so it's shared with all gym members. Some just stare at the kids. The first lane is reserved for the swim school. The water is always freezing cold. And the swim school members aren't allowed in locker rooms/ bathrooms. They can only use one single family stall on the other side of the gym. Changing stations are 3 small tents near the pool. 3) COMMUNICATION: Communication is poor. I've gotten different information from multiple employees on the same questions. I cancelled classes in person. I was later charged for the following month. To find out, cancellations can only be done over the phone or by email. I wanted to complete the makeup classes I had in my British swim school app. I paid for these classes already, but I could only complete them if I was still enrolled. Any makeups would cost $10 each. The staff shows no accountability and customer service is vastly underwhelming. In conclusion, Not worth enrolling. One on one private lessons would benefit your child in the long run. $30 a lesson seems like a steal rather than a lump sum, but ultimately , your child is learning less and paying more overtime. read more

I signed my son up to do a group lesson but the switch the instructor each classes he dail to get comfortable with any - my son was 3 years old at that time. the instructor was good but one incident I felt was totally unacceptable was my son had two other older kids in his class who were siblings. they were not disciplined and respectful to the instructor and he would have to speak to them many times when he was trying to teach my 3 year to swim. these kids were 7 or 8 appx- at the end they would give them 5 min play/ because of the other kids action my son who was listening was cheated out of his 5 min play. the instructor didn't even speak to me or acknowledge me about why .. I found it very unfair due to the age difference. plus was lack of communication if classes were to be cancel on both ends . read more

I am just in love how Jacqueline is an excellent instructor. She is so patient with my son, who is only 3 years old, she is great with kids and an excellent professional! I like that they give them time at the end to play, I think it helps motivate the kids to do their lesson so they can just relax and have fun at the end. It's too hard to cancel. You have to have your card on auto pay and let them know a month in advance you no longer want to continue classes. It's also impossible to make up a class. 3-18 months all the babies will be doing is being dunked and torpedoed. At the Goldenrod location the pool is too cold. It is usually at 83 degrees which is too cold for babies. The parents and babies shiver for the whole class. My daughter even turned purple from the cold and myself and the instructor thought it was extremely unsafe for her to continue the lesson. Today we went to class and the pool was at 82 degrees. We were asked if we still wanted to hold class anyway. After seeing another babies dad test the water and say it was too cold for him to get in. How would my 5 month old be able to handle the water? So we told her it was fine for them to cancel. The instructor told us she was even way too cold. The instructor went on to say all the kids in previous classes were too cold to swim. Why wasn't I called and informed? After driving there and having no choice but to leave because staff and myself felt it was unsafe to swim in such cold temperatures. I told her we already take all 3 classes at this location for her swim level so how would we make it up? I was informed they will most likely do 2 classes in 1 day. My daughter can't do 2 classes in 1 day. Dunking them under the water for 30 min is all she can take. She can't handle 2 classes. I didn't put up a fuss because I want my daughter to be safe.. They also allow people to swim in the pool with LARGE open bloody wounds which is so unsafe for not just babies but anyone. Sign up at own risk read more

I have cancelled my membership with British swim school....my son had severe chest congestion last week so had to reschedule his class to today n I did it a week before...they called me today in the morning saying the class is full....n when asked y they say it's in their policy n they have to right to change a makeup class....n the worst part is they dint call us atleast 24 hrs in advance...they called us 5hrs before the class....my husband took off today for the class n our day got wasted bcoz of this worst managed organization.... read more

Outstanding indoor swim program! My daughter loves her instructors and the classes! It definetly took her a couple of lessons to get acclimated to being in the water, but the instructors were extremely patient, making it a super fun experience for her. I highly recommend this swim school! read more
