I went to the Britt & Tilson located on Buck Shoals Rd. in Arden. I needed a custom size mirror cut. They were amazing. I wasn't remotely in a hurry to have this mirror cut. I told them no rush. We're in the middle of a full house renovation, the mirror was the least of what we had going on. They had it done the very next day. The lady at the front desk was really nice. If this is how they treat you for a small job, I'm using them the next time I have a big glass or mirror job probably when we renovate the master bathroom. read more

This is our second Tilson door to be installed in about 2 months. Had on tub converted to a shower and one shower rebuilt. Tilson doors are just exceptional. I had a slider on the old shower and the door was too small to get in and out of comfortable. Although the mechanism was above the door, the floor space that the double doors took up was needed in the actual shower. When the new shower went in, I gained 2+"'s of new shower space and the threshold was lowered by 2" so barely any step up at all. The Tilson folks come and measure precisely then custom create a heavy glass door with chunky chrome handle and hinges. The finished process says custom and luxe. If you think it is time to remodel your shower, don't waste time with any other options. read more

I discovered with the arrival of recent guests that a shower door glass panel in an occasionally used guest bathroom was rubbing against the wall panel. I called B&T at 5 minutes before closing, expecting to get voice mail. The person who answered the phone took my info and first thing the next morning, they called back, left a message. On my return call, the receptionist tracked the scheduler down and the crew was here within an hour. Two great workers, explained the problem and the fix. (glass had slipped, clamp needed tightening). Five minutes later, they're done. Great customer service. Great responsiveness. A class act from everyone I interacted with. read more

These guys are awesome! As part of a major remodel in 2019 we ordered sliding glass shower doors and a large mirror from Britt & Tilson. They delivered and installed them in October 2019, and they're beautiful, but we didn't actually get to use them for over 1.5 years because our permanent move to Asheville got delayed by the pandemic. Fast forward to July 2021 - we finally moved into the house and discovered a small leak at the base of the shower door. We stopped by Britt & Tilson to see if they could come over and look at it - Kelly immediately got my info to Billy Britt, who called me right away and within a couple of days Darryl and Juan came out, assessed that there was a small gap in the original caulk and re-caulked it on the spot, at no charge even though it was well out of any warranty period. They were super capable and efficient, friendly, and totally honored my request that they wear masks inside. We've done a LOT of home construction over the years and Britt & Tilson was as good as it gets in terms of communication, quality and service! read more

IMO, This is the only glass company to use in Asheville. From start to finish representatives from Britt and Tilson were professional, courteous and responsive. Matt came out and discussed the shower enclosure options with us and provided the feedback needed for us to make the right choices. Clarence and Chris did a phenomenal job not only installing, but cutting and affixing the "panels" to our shower glass. This is a superb company! I first had them out to remove an old glass block shower enclosure and replace with nice sleek glass panels. They did an excellent job! The timing was established to allow us to remove some marks on the shower tiles left from the first enclosure, that would now be exposed with the new enclosure. They made absolutely sure we were pleased before leaving. Very pleased with the entire experience. Only problem now was the new enclosure made the existing glass block window look tacky, so we had them back out to replace the window. This was a very tedious endeavor - the window is over an indoor pond on one side and the bathroom on the other. The original window was glued, screwed and installed in a manner to never be replaced. It was impossible to get a good tight measurement for the new glass until all was removed, which was a slow go! All was completed in a very professional and timely engagement - and this was by no means an easy job. All finished with a great look... like it been there all along! None of the previous demolition scars were showing - which was surprising to me. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking professional glass installation! You will never regret it! read more
