Terrible customer service, not friendly at all, seemed racist; not a welcoming business. Avoid at all cost!

Wright's is family owned and treats you like family. (That is, if your family also has excellent skills in customer service and flooring services:) Ron installed a stair runner for us and he did a beautiful job. He was very fast, efficient, had obvious experience and was super friendly to boot. We would definitely recommend this business. Their prices are fair as well. read more

We consider Wright's the "go-to" place for flooring! We love the carpet we picked and were grateful for information we received that helped us make a good choice, not a hard sell of any kind. They have a great selection, knowledgeable salespeople, and excellent installation. Prices are reasonable. We built a house in Asheville 2019 We unfortunately used wrights A big mistake. They installed tile floor in two bathrooms. One bath was ok the other one was tile that abutted a shower unit. Their worker installed the tile but left it short at the shower unit. Like Inch and half. He or she filled in this huge gap with caulk It still looks terrible. The owner of wrights refused to make it right after Many complaints. Refused to even look at it. Avoid this unethical business !!! read more

Our first attempt at updating our flooring was to use a different local vendor-big mistake. This time we chose Wrights. We are in the process of updating our house. We're doing the usual ripping up carpet and putting down wood or laminate. With Dan Hemphill of Wrights we are very pleased with the results. He helped us find flooring in our budget, measured other floors so that we can plan ahead to replace them-one room at a time. The installers were fabulous! Not only did they work hard to get the job done in one day, their clean up was excellent and they even played good music! It's not often that I can say this, but I was very pleased. Only thing that would make this perfect is if the cost was free- I know that 's not happening -they do need to make a profit. We'll use them again. read more

They do not return emails and do not follow through on promises. The price quote was nothing less than outrageous and if they would have responded to my enquiry I would have told them so. I don't understand how you can stay in business with this kind of business practice and uncommunicative attitude. Of course I went somewhere else and got a much better deal for less than half the price quoted. read more

I was guided by Josh as to what to do with some awful flooring at one of my rentals. He convinced me to refinish the floors which was the cheapest option. I had my living room, dinning room, kitchen, hall and bath laminated with slate color and can't find the words to express my delight with the floors and the professional, polite and extremely picky to be sure the job was perfect. I went in the other day looking for a small piece of indoor outdoor carpet for cats to use. I was fully prepared to pay. But a kind sales associate sitting at the front desk took me back to see what they had and then showed me a remnant laying nearby. I asked how much and she said just take it! These people deserve our business with that kind of customer service. I will return. read more

I am highly disappointed in this company's integrity and work ethic. Although my floors are beautiful, they did not fix two sets of closets broken in the process. In addition, the workers apparently shot up my son's soccer ball with their nail gun for FUN while on a break. Despite me reaching out to this company several times through emails and phone calls, there was no concern, no amends, and no apology. I would stay away from this company due to the fact that they don't care about customer service at all...instead they take no responsibility or accountability. read more

My experience was almost identical to the review written by Dennis W that was not recommended by Yelp. I paid for the job, but only because I felt they did the bare minimum. They don't really care if you are happy or not. The owner seemed unconcerned with my complaints about sloppy work. read more

They quoted me a price of an 11x11 carpet, install, and repair. I was in a rush so I didn't question their math on the invoice/contract. Why was the charge so high then? I found out later that my install did not meet their minimum, so I was charged for their minimum. I also learned the repair did not meet their minimum, so I was charged for their minimum again. But they were still $50 too high. Oh, that's the delivery charge from the manufacturer to their warehouse, which they did not tell me about and was not listed on their invoice. They just fudged it into the total price. That's not an ethical business practice. When I questioned it, the owner of Wright's said "You signed a contract. Were done." I won't do business with them again. read more

In the fall of 2015 we had 100 plus yards of high end carpet installed by Wright Carpet Sales in the bedroom section of our home. The two installers worked very fast and were gone in about two hours. Only after they had left did we realize how poorly the carpet was installed. It seems that every seam, splice and cut shows ... and it seems to get worse the more we vacuum. We probably should have refused making the final payment, but we didn't. All of the furniture had been moved and we were living out of our dining room ... and we were anxious to get back to normal. And because the furniture movers were scheduled for the next day we accepted the job. I purposely drove to the Wright Carpet Sales office to make the final payment and mention our concerns. The fellow who accepted the check did not respond at all. At that point our salesperson walked in and I repeated the concerns to him. I was greeted with a puzzled and hurt look, but no other response. No offered to come look at the job. No offer to try and make it right. Nothing. Months later I'm still upset ... so I'm writing this review. We accepted the job ... and accept our responsibility by doing that. However we believe this review might benefit others. P.S. At least one of the five star reviews on their website was written by a person with the same name as our salesman. I suspect, but don't know, all the five star reviews were written by Wright Carpet Sales employees. read more
