We wanted someone who could do both photography and videography, and that's when we found Stefan. From the very beginning, he was so kind and such a joy to work with. On our very first Zoom call, we already knew he was the one we wanted. At the time, he was in Germany--it was midnight for him, but 6 PM for us here in the States. Anyone willing to stay up that late just to get to know us is clearly dedicated to their clients! Even though we had already taken our own engagement photos, Stefan offered us a free session with him so we could get comfortable working together before the wedding. I'm so glad he did, because it made our actual wedding day so much easier and more relaxed. On the big day, Stefan and Colin were not only kind but also super attentive. Colin kept checking that we stayed hydrated (it was such a hot day!), and both of them made sure everything we needed was taken care of. Watching them work together was such a treat--they make a great team. So if you're on the fence about booking Stefan for photos or video--just do it! You won't regret it. He was amazing to work with; our meetings with him were fun and put us at ease while also being incredibly informative. Even though we were planning our wedding from out of town, we never had a difficult time getting in touch. Day of, he went above and beyond, traveling with us to a few locations for pictures and walking us through a variety of shots. He even stayed a bit late to make sure he captured everything we wanted when the reception was running behind schedule. He had a few preview photos ready to see before the reception even ended and had all the rest available for us to view in an easily accessible online gallery a few weeks later. His giffy booth was also a hit with our guests. Our photos turned out gorgeous! He has a great eye for the posed shots but was also great at capturing people smiling and having fun naturally, which is exactly what we wanted. I could not recommend anyone more highly.

We first worked with Alana and her team during our friends' wedding in 2023, and needless to say we were impressed immediately with her ability to organize everyone to get the bridal party photos she needed and we wanted. We kept her name in our heads for our own wedding plans, and when we were ready to begin the first steps, Alana was the very first phone call we made. Now, needless to say, as a first-time fiance I had never planned a wedding before. No idea where to begin. When I tell you Alana's first consultation was the BEST thing for us, she was absolutely amazing! She gave us a pretty rough idea of how a wedding day would typically go from a photographer's perspective, and we were able to basically wrap our plans around her schedule. I am so grateful for that. She was able to put my mind at ease, was incredibly thorough and communicative, and I could not WAIT for her to photograph our wedding. We had a second consultation/conversation a few weeks before our wedding date as well, and even with me feeling absolutely CRAZY about any potential hiccups with our wedding, she was able to make me laugh and help focus on the important thing - me, my husband (then fiance), and OUR special day. She had been great up to that point, so of course, I was expecting the day itself to be pretty great too! Little did I know I would be BLOWN AWAY with how amazing Alana was. Somewhat last minute I moved our meetup spot to a different location, where my husband and I did our first look and exchanged private vows, and Alana was able to accomodate - and in the end, everything worked out really well. She is a PRO at directing you in the absolute kindest way possible. I can't even explain it, there's just something about the way she can guide you along with the process in order to capture some of the best photos that you will undoubtedly cherish for the rest of your life. I was even getting complements and kind words from family members who were in attendance, about how great she was. While we looked at other photographers and their costs - in the end, the cost was worth it, and let's face it, Alana was ALWAYS our first choice! I will never be able to recreate what a perfect day our wedding was, but if I had to do it all over again I would still want Alana as our photographer. This was what we were trying to avoid and ultimately why we chose and paid for two photographers. We wanted to accommodate for breaks, and anything else that might come up while still having one photographer to cover. Olivia offered a partial refund for this, but ultimately went back on her word and provided zero compensation. She stated that they, "fulfilled their contract." I would have to disagree, if you pay for two photographers - you should get two photographers, or at least one when you need them! I would feel terrible if other couples weren't advised of this going into a contract with her. This was, as it is for most couples, the most expensive part of our wedding day. Though we have lots of great shots, it's a stain on my memory to think of the many missed opportunities.

I contacted her through Facebook and she got back to me so quickly! We booked a time and date before the 14 days mark when the babies can sleep through pictures. Her studio is so clean!!! She wore a mask the entire time!!! She did such an amazing job! Plus she had a back room for anybody that isn't taking pictures with coffee, sodas, snacks and a diaper changing station with a breast feeding pillow! The…read moreowner and operator is not a very helpful and nice person when dealing with brides and wedding, which is ironic given her business. My husband and I booked all of our wedding reception and ceremony decor through her. At the time, we indicated that we would have an outdoor, courtyard wedding and were renting a rose gold glitter runner, which she suggested. The rental fee was not cheap to utilize this runner, but we went ahead with it because it was gorgeous and our theme was grey and white and rose gold. The day of the wedding, she came to set up and refused to put down the runner because it was drizzling. She then tried to get us to give her a deposit of $1,500 in case of damage for a disposable runner. I was shocked. She then would not set up the outside decor for the altar and my husband, the groom to be at the time, had to set it up. She kept indicating she had another wedding to do and didn't want to stay to finish HER job that she was paid in full for. At the end of the day, we had a beautiful wedding and despite her attitude and unhelpful nature, we still had a gorgeous courtyard wedding and wonderful reception. She did refund my money for the runner immediately and that was that. I think she lacks professionalism and doesn't really have the personality to be in the wedding business. Maybe she just doesn't like brides of color or she didn't like us, but the last time I checked, money is green. I would not use her if I was you.

The Wedding Agent (Mia) has many decorations for rent. It is a one-stop shop for centerpieces,…read morelighting, and even invitations. However...for our wedding, we asked Mia to contact our venue so she could get an idea of the space (size) and work out the set-up and take-down times with them. Our venue called us several times asking if we had gotten a new person because Mia hadn't called them. About a week before the event we informed her, at the venue's request, what time the set-up and take-down needed to be completed. She was visibly upset and then charged us extra money to perform the take-down, because "it was an hour earlier" than she had wanted to take it down. We paid the upcharge but later wondered: "Why is there a difference in price for taking stuff down an hour earlier?" If she had called the venue much earlier (as we requested) she would have known the proper times and she would not have 'had' to charge us extra. We felt it was an unnecessary charge. While we were 'just' satisfied with everything else, nothing was over-the-top beautiful or breathtaking. I could have gotten a lot of the fabric she had from craft stores and we would have saved a ton of money. Recently I drove by The Wedding Agent, and it was empty. It appears to be permanently closed or possibly moved to another location.
