Owner and main photographer Heather Susnik is someone I met through mutual friends and she immediately made a positive impression on me. She's incredibly outgoing and talented beyond belief. Her arts and crafts are something I've admired for quite some time, so she was an obvious choice for engagement photos. I personally loved that Heather was very versatile when it came to our picture day. She brought a few props along and posed us here and there but, other than making sure my cleavage wasn't completely inappropriate, we weren't boxed into cookie cutter poses. She used her knowledge and experience to guide my fiancé and me when we needed some direction, but we were mostly encouraged to be our silly selves. It felt much more like hanging out with a good friend than being at a stuffy photo shoot and it shows in our snapshots. After our shoot, Heather edited her selection of favorite photos in a timely manner and provided us with a link to view and download them. However, what I loved the most was that she also included a separate album with all of the unedited photos in one place and made them available to us at no additional charge. As much as I enjoyed her personal picks and appreciate the time she took to give them special treatments, I actually found that I personally much preferred a number of the unedited photos, including some candid and blooper pics. I feel that says a lot about her eye for setting up a memorable shot. Perhaps one of the most appealing aspects of working with Sweet Tooth Creative is the cost. We're not talking pennies on the dollar here for important pictures, but the price point is very competitive. In fact, clients recently received a somewhat apologetic update explaining that there was going to be the first ever price increase for 2015. I kind of had a chuckle when the biggest bump for packages was $50. I suppose that could make or break it for some people, but I thought to myself, that kind of marginal markup almost isn't worthy of drawing attention to it. Though, that speaks to the transparency of her business practices and is much appreciated, especially since Heather was honoring 2014 prices for 2015 shoots as long as you booked her services by the end of the year. Long story short, we are very pleased with our pictures by Sweet Tooth Creative. The only thing I would change about that day is my weight, but it's not Heather's fault that I really love food. All jokes aside, I feel she did an excellent job of making us look our best and capturing a moment that we will look back on fondly for a lifetime. I will definitely be using her for future family portraits and I encourage you to do the same.

There were a lot of nature photographs that really captured the beauty of the outdoors. You could tell right away that Heather enjoyed the outdoors and took pride in capturing those moments with some great photography. Heather then came out to do a shoot of my food table at a farmer's market I was doing to help me showcase my products on my social media pages. She was very professional, outgoing and funny. She was not afraid to take risks and get right up in my table to get the best shots possible. And that definitely paid off, because the pictures turned out great!! However, Cristina's portfolio quickly caught our attention. Specifically, we noticed her nighttime portraits and the excitement and energy that each one captured. I had never seen photos that were so beautiful. After speaking with her and looking over her packages, we knew that she was the one. There are so many wonderful things to say about Cristina, so this post will be a little long. But most importantly (to me), Cristina is incredibly responsive. Before and after the wedding, she responded to each of my emails within 24 hours, no matter how small or silly the question. She was always kind, straight-forward, and patient. A few months before our wedding, I saw in one of her Instagram posts that Cristina offers hybrid (film + digital) packages. Since our venue was very romantic and garden-esque, we knew that we wanted to benefit of both mediums. It was one of the best decisions that we made in the wedding planning process. Obviously, everyone knows that Cristina's digital images look as if they were taken straight out of a high fashion magazine, but to me, her film images are even more beautiful. She was able to capture such vibrant colors and soft images. I honestly can't stop staring them. Also, I can't imagine that our day would have run as smoothly with any other photographer. Cristina kept everyone on schedule. My day-of coordinator actually told us that she was one of the best photographers that she's worked with. After the wedding, we received so many photos, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I love all of them. We have so many images perfect for printing and hanging, but she also captured our guests and our interactions with them. I think many people underestimate how meaningful those photos end up being. We are able to look back and see our family and friends enjoying themselves on the dance floor, and we weren't able to enjoy all of those moments on our wedding day, as we were so busy mingling. I look back at the photos, and they take me right back to that day. And finally, we ordered our wedding album and parent albums through Cristina. That process was seamless, and we are blown away by the quality of the albums. (I've actually had five people reach out to me to ask where I had them made.) If we had to do it again, we would choose Cristina and her team every time! They are simply the best of the best!
