We always travel to Kamloops and always hit the Britton Creek stop for a stretch and bathroom break. This stop surpasses the old summit bathrooms because it's off the highway and isn't super scary at night. The area is great with parking for regular cars and a separate sections for semis, RV's and trucks with trailers. Lots of outdoor lights to make you feel safe stopping here. Washrooms are well maintained and lots of stalls but only use the tap water for washing your hands as drinking it is not recommended. There is a small indoor area where there is a bench and small picnic table inside that also has a pay phone with some tow company numbers if needed. If you need to recharge a device there is an electrical outlet inside too. If you're craving a snack they use a bus that sells snacks like coffee, pop, chips, hotdogs, and samosas. read more

We were heading back to Vancouver from Kelowna. We had to make a stop for the bathroom. This is a super basic rest stop. It has nothing else other than the restrooms (one for men, one for ladies and one for the disabled). There are lots of parking. Most people just make a quick bathroom break and off they go back on the road. The washroom is kind of old but they are ok. They are not super clean nor super dirty. It is what you expect to see at a typical rest stop. Note that there is no free wifi here. Forget about free wifi actually, there are no phone reception for many. read more

Lots of parking and picnic tables . Bathroom are kept clean and lots of stalls in both men and women. Nice views and animals to entertain you. Along with wifi. The snack shop 0 stars because it GOUGING ( See PICTURES) !! For " just a hotdog or nachos, sandwich" that you can get in 7/11. No real condiments for them either! While looking at menu seen a customer with a hot dog and sandwich, definitely a 7/11 item. I overhead the employee seemed to on par with customer service, while dealing with others. They do include GST but not willing to pay those prices. Word of caution BYOL ( Bring your own lunch)! read more

Beat rest area ever. Clean, beautiful country, Love the food Cart. Never stop at teh Summit rest area. Any time I've been ther the rest rooms were so dirty. Wa always stop here when we travel aback and forth. read more

Scenic and great place to stretch the legs. There is ample space for RV's and trailers too so no worry about parking. Good variety of food and quick snacks to refuel and get you back on the go with some energy. I forgot my phone here I was so distracted by the scenery but the fella running the food truck was more than helpful in getting this back.....great place! read more

Travel frequently over the coquihalla and make a point to stop at Britton Creek for the cleanest restrooms along this highway and the Samosas!! Great job!!! read more

Actually 2 stars for washrooms (freezing tap water, only soap in 1 of 3 dispensers, and only 1 of 2 driers working in the Ladies). But 4 stars for the samosas and 5 stars for the chai - this rating comes from my Guerati East Indian mother in law - praise indeed! read more
