Unfortunately, the downside is that since so much money was invested into the surgery they have raised their prices considerably. There is no question that their care is second to none but you really are paying a high price now. Also the individual vets are obviously set targets to meet as they are constantly trying to talk you into taking out insurance for your animal. You can however open an account with Riversmeet so that if you have to have an emergency visit and forget to pick up your purse or anything you do get 28 days to pay.

I had my puppy injections done here and with those I was invited to attend several puppy classes, which was an opportunity to socialise your dog with other puppies and get advice on your dogs health and care. I got a certificate at the end and throughout the classes I was given some great tips and help with my dog. As this was the first dog I have ever had the classes were of a great help to me. The vet nurses were really helpful and friendly as were the vets. I was given a special offer with insurance through pet plan to get 12 months for the price of 10, which saved me around £40. The only downside was the price, which now I have moved and went round the vets to get a feel for them and look at prices, I can say it was one of the most expensive. I paid around £45-50 for the injections and a local one to me now charges half that. However, with the inclusion of the puppy classes I was happy to pay that. I did get my dog spayed at half the price I was going to pay for her to be done here. The service and care is wonderful but you do pay more than other vets. I would never put money ahead of my dogs health but I am now at a cheaper vets and am very happy with everything, however if I was still in the area regardless of price I would still be with Damson House Vets.

They even asked me if she had done it before she came in (despite them checking her eyes on arrival). I asked the practice manager to call me but heard nothing from them. In a situation as serious as this I only think it is right to advise of our experience as I would never trust them to look after my puppy or any pet indeed after my dreadful experience.

I have to say my husband and I were gutted as they were a husband and wife team who offered a truly personal service. I had been trying various practices to see if any matched up to those high standards. It's almost impossible to find unique pracices anymore, but for me White Cross is as close as it gets. We have had cause to visit them a great deal with our cat and every time we have received lovely service. The nurses at reception are helpful and always ready for a chat. The vets are knowledgable and caring and the prices are decent in my view. Unfortunately we lost our cat ultimately but they dealt with this with great sensitivity too and when we're ready for a new pet I'll have no hesitation in using them again.

We have a very highly strung cat and have tried all sorts of different treatments to help calm him, but sadly to no avail. On our visit today, on route we phoned to inform of a slight delay,( Due to afore mentioned reason,) which, as it turned out would not have been a problem. We noticed the patient before our appointment left a good while after we checked in. We were informed that we would have to go to the back of the queue as a matter of protocol. No problem if there had been someone else being seen.(Which was not the case.) When we asked in a polite manner, the receptionist, was quite rude in her reply.

They were excellent and professional however they retired just before covid and sold out to a large company called CVS. At first the vets I uses there were good Lisa was good but left soon after to work at the zoo. I saw one or 2 different ones but were not permanently working there. There were 2 working there permanently and I took my sick Persian cat to Stewarts vets on the Saturday with not eating and having breathing difficulties, The vet said it was toothache and gave her an injection and metacam. I asked why is she breathing so bad he said its the pain from the tooth and Bring her back on Monday. By Monday she was getting worse so I then felt that stewarts hadn't diagnosed correctly so I took her to The PDSA and they took her and put her in an oxygen tent, They did xrays and when they called me in and I saw the xrays her lungs were white with fluid and she was dying no sign of toothache and the metacam had been useless Her veins were flat with dehydration and they said she would have to be put to sleep..however i bought her body home and i wished i had never set eyes on that vet, I made a complaint and the practice manager blamed me for going for a second opinion The PDSA sent the xrays to stewarts but no comment Avoid these vets it may look posh but I know if Mr Stewart had still been there my cat would be alive today.

Although I appreciated the help and care the other vet gave my dog, I could'nt help feeling ripped off when they charged me nearly £100 extra for keeping my dog for the day because they had to delay some tests because of another emergency. When I questioned the extra on the bill the nurse refered me to a vet that I believe was one of the owners who basicly said when its an out of hours case we charge what we want regardless of whether the extra time spent in our care is down to us or not. I've had 6 dogs treated by Stewarts over the years and given the choice I'd use stewarts every time. This review is based on my own experience and judgment.

They took great care of our dog Jasper, who had a slipped disc in his lower back. Several MRI scans later, he had an operation (not done at Rosewoood) which had complications and poor Jasper's back leg's were paralysed. We didn't give up and with the support of Rosewood we took care of him, he wasn't very mobile but he seemed happy. Three weeks from his operation we noticed his tail was twitching. Straight away we took him to Rosewood, where we noticed his toes felt sensation also. Staff and I in tears, we had hope. Weeks past, his twitch turned to a wag, his legs started to move, so we turned to our vets to see if any physiotherapy could be done. We arranged physio to take place, and he also went for hydrotherapy (which he hated!). Months past, he started to walk again. He never fully recovered, he could never run, but he was still the loving and happy dog which we all knew. If it wasn't for the staff at Rosewood we would have given up. Thank you. :)

We had to go this week with our much loved elderly bad tempered old cat. we were thinking it was the end of the line for her as she had become very ill. Not the easiest cat to treat she spits and growls like a champion, however undeterred they worked their magic on her. I can not thank them enough for today and the many years we have put our pets into their hands and the results have always been good.
