They are…read morevery gentle with the animals and the receptionists' telephone manner makes you feel really welcome. They make regular visitors feel so at home, as well as new visitors, welcome. Parking is easy, right next door in the pub car park, and the practice is opposite a pet shop, which makes visits far more convenient. They also provide many many leaflets and information on all sorts of animals. Visitors can also buy most of the vet recommended food products which can make the trip a very efficient one.

We first had to rush our cat…read moreIfrit to their 24 hour service a few months ago and were so kind and understanding when I explained my situation (not only a poor student but a poor disabled student relying on public transport) and let me work out first bus I could get to get Ifrit seen ASAP. Recently had to return to Manor Vets Edgbaston as it appears Ifrit has cystitis again and they're currently processing his urine samples today - a rush to make sure no underlying problems! By phone they are incredibly kind and patient, very understanding, and gave me numbers for the Cats Protection and Friends of the Animals for badly needed help with the cost of vets consultation and neutering fee for which I am incredibly grateful for. Some vets can be quite snobby and look down on lower-income people, but this recently refurbished state of the art veterinary practice is far from snobby. Treats were provided for the furry patients which helped Ifrit relax in the waiting room, and everyone there was definitely a pet person, creating a calming, warm, welcoming atmosphere. They've also given brilliant advice on foods that help his condition and it is little touches like that make me so grateful we chose Manor Vets.

If they don't know the exact answer, they will endeavour to find a specialist - we feel so lucky to be with them! It is easy to get appointments and the staff will try to find the most suitable time for you. When you go through the dorr, which is a little stiif you see the reception directly in front of you. To the right of this is the door , not just any door but to all dogs the door. You only go in there to prodded and poked and who knows what else! Anyway there are a few chairs in front of this and that line up against the window too. It is not really very big but you can get quite a few people in there. The staff are friendly and helpful, usually chatty too. The vets themselves are also great, very very frinedly adn really good at their jobs too. I have never had any concerns taking my dog here. And trust them fully. They originally only occupied one shop front but due to the amount of animals and custom they had the other shop next door trasnformed to be part of the vets too. So one day you might go in on the right and others on the left. Good to see that they have now more room for their rooms, and animals. All of which can have a larger more comfortable stay if they need to.

Tuck my gunniea pig…read morethere to get his teeth done, ever since then he went down hill, he started not to eat so I tuck him back to see the vet for a full body Heath check and the vet didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and gave us something to help him feel hungry, tryed this with my gunniea pig for a week, I noticed nothing was getting better so I went back in to see this vet, yet again he didn't seem like he knew anything and gave me a recovery food to hand feed him so I tuck him home and did this over night and the nexts day, the day after I noticed my gunni tuck a turn for the worse and try to call the vet on a emergency number and this number was invalid and there no way I could get in contact, within minutes I lost my gunniea pig. Am not happy with the service I was givein I don't recommend
