In May of 2017, we received a notice from the IRS that we did not satisy our 2015 taxes owed. Boyer and Boyer said they would look into this for us and let us know the outcome of their investigation. I followed up with them one week after giving them the form and a POA to complete the investigation on our behalf. They were still investigating and assured us they would get back to us with an update within 7 business days. They did not, so I followed back up 2 weeks later, speaking with Sandy, she mentioned we had not provided certain documentation (2014 1099-G forms). I asked if they would've known we needed to have these and if they should've requested this from us, she said "We wouldn't know if you would have received these forms since you were a new client at that time". I said ok and came home to check my records and I found that we had indeed, provided them the forms in question. In was in the folder with all our other documenation they provided to us. Not only did they not properly complete our taxes, they lied about not having received these documents in order to hide their error. We've been charged interest and penalties, in addition to the monies owed, since they failed to get back to us in time so we could respond to the IRS. We will take our business elsewhere next year as we had never had any issues with the service we used before.

She never called me back like she promised so I finally called her back in the middle of the following week. She apologized and told me she had lost the piece of paper with my phone number on it. I guess she could not look my phone number up on my policy? I made an appointment and met with my agent at the AAA office the next morning. I was expecting my agent to lower my rates and maybe even give me a credit for the portion of my premium that I was overcharged for the previous year. I was not expecting my agent to tell me that my premium would still be over $2000. When I questioned her as to why she was charging me such an exorbitant amount she came up with an extremely lame story about me having two points against my record. If you remember, the other agent assured me I only had one. I can only guess that they did not want to have to rebate money to me for the past year so they decided to figure out a really lame lie to keep my insurance at the same rate. She also told me again that it was my responsibility to have filed those reports and the reason the others person's information was filed and mine was not was that we had different claims adjusters. Wait a second, didn't a claims adjuster contact me and tell me she was going to be the claims agent for both of us? My agent again told me that they are the only insurance company that files accident reports and proof of financial responsibility for their members. When I replied that the woman in the financial responsibility office told me that was not true, she said the woman probably did not know what she was talking about. All the lady at the department of financial responsibility does all day is deal with these reports. I am pretty sure she knows what she is talking about (LOL). It was more than time for me to look for a company that appreciates my business and treats me with the respect and dignity I deserve as a paying customer and does not continually lie to me. I feel really sad that I had to change companies after almost 40 years. I guess it is true that nothing ever stays the same. It was at this point that I decided to shop my automobile insurance on line. It was quick and easy. I filled out a form with my pertinent information and immediately started getting quotes both on line and on my phone. Within a few hours I had already decided on a company that offered the most services for the least amount of money. That company was 21rst Century Insurance. At first I was apprehensive about using an insurance company that I could not sit down face to face with my broker. It was not until I found out my girl friend has been using them for almost 15 years, that I decided to give them a chance. My dad sent the email and Bob replied, saying he would pay when it got closer to the due dates for each. The due date for the federal taxes came and passed and the taxes never got paid. Now my dad owes a penalty and Bob refuses to get back to us. We will never go to him again. We will be filing complaints with the IRS and Better Business Bureau, with his emails as proof. Beware!
