For tourists this bar is pretty far off the normal routes that would be recommended to you. It's…read moreone for beers geeks looking for craft beers on tap and keen to keep away from the Tuborg and Carlsberg that dominate touristy bars. It really is worth the trip, not far from the nearest metro stop it best described as a grainy hipster bar where 99% of the clientele are locals. There are retro pictures on the walls and bicycles hanging from the roof. Apart from that it is pretty basic with no fancy edges, just a chalkboard with 10-ish craft beers from across the globe on tap. I had an amazing IPA from New Zealand which is one of the best beers I have had on this trip to Copenhagen. Definitely worth a look if you like new beers and want to get of the beaten track. (Sadly no wi-fi though)

I love this gem of a place in Nørrebro…read more Forget the upscale Mikeller or the big Taphouse, this place is small but "hyggeligt" as the Danes would say. I was dragged here after a hearty meal at the Ethiopian restaurant on the same street further down Nørrebrogade and this place is just perfect. I like that there are more and more craftbeer bar in Copenhagen that gives no excuse to drink a bad beer. They have their beer list on the blackboard by the bar and you could get a taste of what you will order, and since it's called Ølsnedkeren, they make their own bottled beer as well. Too bad I had to hurry home because I was drinking on a Wednesday, but I would definitely come back to this place again.

A number of high top tables and some comfier seats arranged with some privacy and a "nook and cranny" sort of thing. Comfy! A dozen taps with the usual sorts of beers. Most of them local and limited release but they do have a small bottle shop with imported beers if you'd prefer that. I enjoyed my beer here! Neat stop!

Taplist is very decent, although not that adventurous, they have the usual names on the list, and some really good beer list. There was Rasputin from De Molen brewery when I was there, a very good stout. Another plus for the bar is probably that they have a stack of board games you could borrow, and that there is a "mini" bottle shop, stocked with some Belgian beers and selections of Amager Bryghus. Service is top-notch, there's nothing I can't complain. I feel that the target for this bar is just for people who want to try different beer out, without having to mingle with snobbish beer nerds like in "more serious" places like Mikkeller or Taphouse nearby. It's good "entry-level" bar so to speak and the location in Strædet is also perfect for tourists to sample how "hygge" and "beer" can be combined.

Popped in exclusively for drinks, so can only comment on the environment mostly…read more Such an interesting spot! We asked for their wine varietals and they essentially were re-filling most wines so we were told they had 1 white and 1 red-we ordered one of each. The wines themselves were very fine. However, once you leave the ordering area you realize how cool the area is. The bar overlooks a dock that people have surrounded around in various swim gear. If you plan ahead well enough you can easily go swimming and have a lovely glass of wine. If not, like us, then sit by the dock and enjoy the weather while drinking your glass of wine. We didn't venture into any of the food but really cannot emphasize how much we wished we could lounge further from a swimming standpoint! A lovely stopping point especially if you're on the way to Copenhill.

Being a foodie, I indulged on my week-long Copenhagen trip in October 2021. One restaurant that I…read moredidn't plan on eating at is La Banchina. While exploring the industrial part of the city, I stumbled upon this tiny cafe along the water with a sauna attached to it. Wow, I'm glad I did! The cafe is no-frills, but leads down to a dock where you can enjoy your food, making for lunch with a view. Inside the cafe, you can order cocktails in a can, pastries and lunch from a small menu. For around $15, I ordered a cocktail in a can, pumpkin soup and a bowl of bread with olive oil. The bread was the best I has all trip and the soup was the best I've had ever! Service was fast, efficient and the price was much more affordable compared to many restaurants in Copenhagen. Although there's no wifi, this is still a must-experience.
