They did repair it at no cost, but it was quite inconvenient, yesterday I called to find out about an transmission flush for my 2018 Dodge pro city van, could not tell me a price how to drop it off and they'll let me know when it was ready whenever they damn well got around to it, they're so busy they don't give a shit about you or me. I wouldn't recommend these people at all. They're so busy they don't need my business. They never returned my phone call with the price. They don't give a quote over the phone. Repair and replace frond end parts. They had to remove shocks to replace $3400. 00 dollars Worth of parts and labor. First they didn't install a bolt on front end shock. He fired me as a customer because I gave them a BAD review. It was never repaired properly and it was looked at several times I have been dealing with a man at Broadmoor Garage with no name. The manager refused to give me his name. He fired me as a customer again TODAY due to fact the top shock bolts were not installed properly and he refused to pay another shop to fix there screw up. They tried to charge me $529 to replace my transmission fluid on my 2021 Toyota 4runner. When I asked why it was so much, they brought it down to $470. I questioned it a bit more and they brought it down to $445. When I asked for an itemized receipt, the guy told me they don't do those, and got defensive asking if I was calling him a liar. In my experience, only a liar asks a question like that, and I've never gotten work done on my car without receiving an itemized receipt that breaks down the costs. I called Yokem Toyota to see how much it would cost to get the same thing done there, and they quoted me $403.49 to the penny. I'm from Texas and I've never been to a local shop that costs MORE than the DEALERSHIP. By no means am I saying to not go here, but definitely be careful if you're not trying to get scammed. It seems like they just make random numbers up off the top of their heads, then adjust it later if customers gets upset. Manager Josh was very unprofessional!!!! I took my car to get serviced last Friday before taking a trip to Austin/San Antonio TX. Only to arrive to my destination to start getting warning signs that my oil was significantly low. With know I had gotten a full service the same day, I assumed it was just a setting that needed resetting. I arrived back in town today to follow up with Broadmoor to check the concern and was met with the response. "I will not service your vehicle and there is nothing you can do about it". He didn't even check or attempt to reset. My car is a 2022 Bronco and keeps track of my readings constantly. My oil is at 1%. This is awful. Now I have to go somewhere else, when I paid for a service here. Don't go!! read more

They kept my car two days and it only took one hour to change two battery cables and the nuts that went with them but they did not replace the battery but charged me $179 for a new battery and when I pointed it out on the bill he only refunded me $61.77 making my bill a total of $322.38 for one hour of work and two battery cables so I would never use them again read more

Abouta year ago I took my 2015 white Honda Accord in to get an electric problem with my dash lights. Met with Zac and they started work on it. Called me said he found the problem it would cost 1600 hundred. Didn't have but got it. 3 days went by they called said it was done. I go pick it up and it's still not working right. Took it back to Zac and showed him , and had know idea what's wrong. He looked at me and says take it to Honda. And Broadmoor kept every dime of my money. And Honda wanted 2300 to fix it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE PEOPLE!!! I have to say that Eli and Tina are very professional. They both do an amazing job in helping the customers. However, the store manager Jacob is extremely unprofessional, rude, loud, abnoxious, and extremely ignorant when it comes to vehicles. I paid this shop over $2,300 to do some repairs to my truck. The repairs were only $2100, but they add a $45 fee for whatever, and a $155 diagnostic fee to tell you everything wrong with the vehicle. They sent me the invoice total to my phone, and then I had to agree to the charges and sign. When I got to the shop to pay and pickup the truck, Jacob tried very hard to over charge me close to $300. The only reason he was not able to do that was because I saved the document on my phone that showed the agreed upon price. One of the things I paid for was an oil change. 4 days after I picked up my truck I checked the oil and it barely had anything in it. The oil was not changed. I took the truck back to them, and Jacob told me the valve cover and gasket needs to be replaced on one side. I asked him, if that's true, then why didn't you catch that in the $155 diagnostic charge? He replied, we are human. He might be human, but he is definitely NOT a mechanic and knows nothing about cars! It doesn't take a mechanic to see oil dripping on a vehicle! The reason is because they didn't care to look, and charged me $155 for nothing! After Jacob told me it would cost another $550 to replace to gasket and valve cover, I started to ask him if I would be charged another $155 diagnostic fee and another $45 whatever fee, but before I could ask he cut me off and started throwing a temper tantrum like a little child, yelling over me, being extremely rude, and then told me that they didn't make a penny profit on the over $2300 that I paid them for the work they did, and continued his child like rant. I wanted to think about it, and then asked him for a printout of what he says needs done, then he gets angry and says no, I do not want your business or money, and walked away. I was stunned! I couldn't believe that the manager of this store was so unprofessional, and on top of that he was running off business. As a business owner myself, I can say that if anyone in my company ever run off a paying customer I would fire them immediately!!! I then called the GMC Dealership to get a quote on the same thing Jacob quoted me on, and the dealership is $100 cheaper than Jacob's quote. I also checked with GMC on the other things that Jacob did, and Jacob was several hundreds of dollars more expensive for far less superior work. The dealership is supposed to be more expensive, not the shade tree shop! I was very surprised to see the dealership as cheaper than Broadmoor. Not only is the dealership cheaper, but they are much faster, and the dealership customer service is professional! Unlike Jacob at Broadmoor! Take your vehicle to your local dealership, that is the lesson learned. The only way Broadmoor could get any better is if they fired Jacob IMMEDIATELY, and replaced him with Tina. She is very nice, curtious, and professional. All traights you need when dealing with customers. Eli should be promoted to Tina's position, and then you are in good shape. Jacob is running this place in the ground, and losing business instead of creating business. I hope the owner sees this review, and takes it seriously, because this child (Jacob) is hurting your company tremendously! I've been working on vehicles for over 40 years, so I know a few things, I'm just old and can't do the things I used to could do. I have forgotten more about vehicles than jacob will ever know. If you gave this guy a broom, and put him in charge of sweeping, he would screw that up. My state sticker was about to expire, and my usual inspection source did not have the two-year stickers, so I went Yelp to find places offering inspections. Broadmoor Garage was near my office and their hours of operation were fine. An old friend told me years ago that Broadmoor Garage did ALL of his auto work, and he was very pleased. Well, now I am too! I got to the shop around 11:40, the technician (the invoice shows her initials as "JE" - I think her name is Jamie) was knowledgeable and efficient. When she told me that I had a burned out brake light, I thought "Uh-oh, here comes the adder! Shame on me, I was just charged for the price of the bulb (no "installation cost"). I can highly recommend Broadmoor Garage - at least for state inspections - but I suspect that that level of service and efficiency can be found throughout the organization. My A/C went out in the middle of July so I went to Mavis Tires and they diagnosed the issue as being a broken motor / blower. They said they don't do repairs that require the dashboard to be removed so they recommended Broadmoor Garage. I called Broadmoor Garage on a Saturday during their business hours and left a message. They never called me back so I called them again on Monday. I told them what the issue was and they said they would need to do another diagnostic just to be sure which would be $200. Then, he said if it is a broken motor / blower, it would end up being $2000. I called Orr Nissan right after and they said for a diagnostic and repair, the total would be $640. DO NOT TRUST BROADMOOR GARAGE. I researched some prices for blowers / motors for my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport and the price range most websites said was between $400-$800. $2200 for a broken blower / motor is ABSURD!!! This place is well known for being one of the best garages in Shreveport. They are good at what they do, are friendly. They used to be very trustworthy and fast. However, I am updating my review from 6 years ago. They grew and expanded, got really big and busy. I think their service has suffered. I stopped going there about 3 years ago because there were several times when I dropped my car off at the earliest possible time in the day and heard nothing, called at 4pm and they hadn't even looked at my car yet and wanted to keep it through the following day (or even over the weekend.) This happened several times for just routine/quick repairs. They have always been rather expensive but I was willing to pay their rates because they were trustworthy and quick. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. They quoted me $850 to replace my fuel pump. My fuel pump was brand new and was just replaced not even 5 months ago. Already I knew that they didn't diagnose the problem. Not only did they charge the $104 for a diagnosis, but they threw in an extra 52 dollars of tests. They had no way of proving they ran these tests nor did I authorize them to do it. Scotty ended up charging the original $104 because he couldn't prove that he even did anything. Then I called Eurotek to get a quote on a fuel pump replacement and explained to them how Broadmoor was essentially ripping me off. Eurotek called Broadmoor to see what they were charging me and Broadmoor LIED and gave them a cheaper quote than the one they told me! Broadmoor then calls me again to give me another quote that's still more expensive than what they told Eurotek! I ended up leaving Broadmoor and getting my car towed to Eurotek where they told me that the fuel pump was not even the issue. All in all do NOT go to Broadmoor Garage! They are a RIP OFF! They were going to originally charge me $850 for a fuel pump replacement and it was not even the problem! Stay away from these crooks!!! The only reason I went there is because it was AAA certified. Do not take any Classic or vintage car there. They ruined my 1997 Mustang GT. They charged me over $1300 to replace the clutch, but did not replace or fix the flywheel. Did not replace the exhaust properly. Now the clutch pedal bounces constantly, the car is loud and the engine cuts out unexpectedly. The clutch still squeals. They denied doing anything wrong, accused me of "riding the clutch" and sent me packing with greasy fingerprints all over the previously PRISTINE interior of the car, greasy boot prints all over the outside of the car, dirt inside the gear shift and did not tuck in the trunk liner, just left it hanging over the gaskets flopping around in the trunk. They offered no apology. No offer was made to "make it right", even after my mother went up there to inform them my dying father wanted it fixed properly for my son. Watched them sucker a clueless woman out of a battery for an exorbitant amount of money, even after telling her the battery was fully charged and it might be the alternator. She agreed and paid over $170 for a batter, and they told her to come back and they'd replace the alternator (for an additional charge of course) if replacing the battery didn't fix it. If their father was alive he would be ashamed of the way they ripped me off, looked me right in the eye and lied to me without apology. read more

Let me outline a series of events and you tell me how good these guys are. We start our vacation going to Florida from Dallas. We arrive in Shreveport and all of a sudden our SUV goes completely crazy. We limp to a casino because it is Sunday and no garages are open. We are forced to stay at the casino with our 7 year old, no pool, no family activities, spending money we planned for the vacation, and worried beyond belief. Our vehicle had just been given a completely rebuilt motor and transmission 5k miles before we were making this trip. On Monday, I called Broadmoor Garage and told them our issues. They attempted to get a tow service to come get the vehicle but had no companies available until late that day. The OWNER...the actual owner used his old tow truck to come get our vehicle and get to looking at it right away. He did a diagnostic on it and told us that the transmission was shot. He told us the cost to rebuild it at his shop, which we had no money for at the time and he understood that completely. He helped us find a shipping service to get our vehicle back to Dallas at a very affordable price. He did not charge us for the diagnostic, and even allowed us to leave our vehicle and the cash for the delivery service for a few days. He only charged us for the towing, which is flat rate in Shreveport. We can not say enough about this garage or explain well enough to say enough. But the best I can say that might make a difference is that if you want honest service, understanding and caring people, and friendly outgoing atmosphere, you will not find a better place than Broadmoor. Next time we go through Shreveport, even if we do not break down, we will stop here and tell them again how much we appreciated their help. read more
