Also this is one of the only gas stations I've been to that was actually clean. There were some plastic gloves on the ground outside, and before I pulled out of the parking lot, the staff had cleared them up. Having already spent $1.2 K on tires and a 4 wheel alignment, I had to start hunting for a way to save on this next repair. Enter Tony's Broadway Auto Repair. I drove to the shop without an appointment and asked if they could fit me in sometime. After describing what was wrong with the vehicle, they said they could get me in today. Heck, yeah, I'll wait. Repairs (cutting and replacing a portion of the exhaust pipe) were made at a reasonable price. The car was so quiet afterwards, I almost restarted it, thinking it wasn't running. Anyway, a trusted mechanic, that's hard to come by these days. Judging by how busy the shop is, a lot of people appreciate this family owned business as well.

I've been passing this gas station throughout the past several years while doing Uber, and when I…read morewas severely close by (having dropped off a rider on Lincoln St a few minutes away) when I came upon it, I knew it was just that "right time and the right place." I had seen this location from a distance before, and although gas pricing here tends to be a little higher than most places (especially if you don't have a Price Plus card), I tried to stop in to try it out. However, it was the wrong decision. I knew I had my GasBuddy card to worry about and which is only accepted at pay-at-the-pump transactions. However, although it took my card, I was never asked before nor after the transaction if I wanted a receipt for the gas purchase. I ended up going in to retrieve the receipt - to which the employees were kind, and weren't busy (although the gas lines didn't show that) at all, the transaction went rather smooth. I only noticed a workable glitch in the hose location, and since this was the first time I had to fill up this newer car (to me), I couldn't quite figure out how far up I needed to go for the hose to reach and the remainder of the hose snagged on the pump hold bar - but was workable as I picked it up for it to reach. What I find most awkward is that although this ShopRite gas location is here, a few blocks down is the nearest ShopRite itself - generally where you find a ShopRite gas, you'll also find a ShopRite itself, and this was completely out of whack of everything I've learned about ShopRite before. (I actually visited that ShopRite in years past, and wrote the review of the location.) Keep in mind that this location is on the same street (Central Ave) as another ShopRite gas, although it is farther away from the other one as to not be interchangeable. It's easily confused - but it isn't the same. It's actually on the opposite side of the street many miles down closer to Albany than the Colonie one. I can't exactly say I'll be back to this location, because of the higher gas prices, but it's nice to know it exists if there's a sale on gas and this isn't crowded - not the case today, but it was my last hope for gas. I didn't really like that this station was rather crowded following the side of the pumps I needed for fitting my car's gas filling location easily. The station looked clean, including the inside of the convenience store, but I still have a wary feeling about this location.

Alltown already has a good rating on Yelp, but on the night we were driving along Erie Blvd. and looking for gas, Gasway had something Alltown did not - accessible pumps. I don't know what was going on over there, but every pump was blocked with an upside-down drum in front of it - perhaps there was some computer issue. Gasway is certainly a much more scaled-down gas station and convenience stop, but if all you're looking for is budget priced gas, you'll be okay here.

She told me to have my car either towed right over or if I can drive very slowly. I drove very slowly and met a guy with blonde hair who was extremely helpful and fixed my tired in 5minutes. His charge for it was the best I ever had and I would extremely recommend his small shop to everyone who hates dealing with the hassle of big companies fucking you over. So I became a customer, if not buying gas, buying cigarettes and coffee early in the morning on the way to work. Sometimes minor repairs would be done by women working in the station. Rox took her car here all the time, for major and minor work, and loved them. Dunbrook Mobil does not have a staff, it's more like a cast. Through repeated visits, you get to know them, and the pleasant quirkiness of the business ameliorates the cost of gasoline a bit.
