Upon checking that all tags were there and the clothes were not damaged, she refunded me with no fuss. 4 stars for the combined online shopping and great customer services in store.

I know Old Navy likes to position itself as great for the whole family but Roots often makes the same things for men's, women's and kids! They don't have a ton of sales in their regular stores but I went in anyways. They have a super cute "Beaver Canoe" line right now. There are sweatshirts with and without hoods, and in a lot of colours. They even have a beaver plushie in matching hoodie. You know I had to get one of these. All of the staff were really helpful on this shopping experience. I wanted to try on my new threads so they helped me with a change room, then helped me unlock the changeroom when I accidentally locked myself out. They also weren't pushy which made for a comfortable shopping experience.

I have been here countless times over the past couple of decades. Yes, I will say that this store is at least twenty years old. I can't tell you why I've never posted a bunch of photos or reviewed this Winners. Better now than never! This Winners is on the second floor of CF Markville Mall. It's next door to Auric King, which used to be where the Pickle Barrel was for years. It's kind of weird to not see this eatery next door to Winners. Years ago, I would go shopping at Winners with a friend. Afterwards, we'd have dinner at the Pickle Barrel. It was always an enjoyable outing. The Winners remains huge and spacious. Why? Many moons ago, it was the second floor of Walmart. I was early for my eye appointment, so I spent some time at Winners before I headed over there. I spent most of my time in the beauty products section. Sadly, Winners doesn't seem to carry the gel nail strips that I like anymore. However, it did have the cutest plush croissant keychain. I looked at nail polish, lip gloss, eye shadow, and more. The beauty section was extensive and fun to browse. I headed briefly over to the winter coats section. There was lots of variety. i didn't need one, but it was nice to browse. The store was busy at around 4:30 pm. Many high school students were in this store, which made me smile. It was nice to see that there are still teens who like to hang out at a mall like I used to. I should stop by more often. This store is by mall entrance 6. It's where I like to park my car at the mall. There's lots of parking and there's a marked pedestrian crossing that I like. (464)

It's a tiny little store, space C1-209, with a fairly limited selection of tees, pullovers, shirts and a few other items, about evenly split between items for men and women. The thing I liked most about the store was the owner, Kelvin Chan, a delightful guy with a very pleasant and accomodating style, who let me try practically every piece of inventory on once, before i finally bought ONE item from him. I was like Goldilocks! This was too small, this was too big, if only THAT were in ANY size other than XL. I would have tested the patience of Job! Next best was the great, unique selection of items from Zoo York especially, with some other great pieces from BAPE and a couple of other brands I had never heard of. The prices were OK, with most of the graphic tees going for $50 to $60, which I generally find is the minimum global going rate for great tees like these. The long sleeved Zoo York thermal-style pullovers were about $120, but for unique designs that i felt were worth the price. When I go back to Pacific Mall again in the future this will be one of only three stores I will check out specifically while i am there.

It's too much to list every single product that they have but some of them include seasonal decorations (Halloween items are displayed throughout from plates, mugs, and pumpkins to skeletons), art supplies (markers, paints, pencils, tie dye kit), stationary, desks, desk chairs, couches, rugs, bedding, lighting (such as lamps), photo frames, large trash bins, candles of all sizes and scents, fake plants and flowers, flower pots, powdered peanut butter, tea mixes with mugs, more sustainable and reusable products (set of eating utensils to use instead of single-use plastic ones, metal and silicone straws, silicone freezer bags, silicone sandwich bags, vegan wax cubes for extending the life of vegan wax food wraps), all the regular snacks, pots and pans and even Chinese sausage (lap cheong!). I never thought I'd see that at HomeSense. On the Marshalls side there's plenty of backpacks for back-to-school, a lot of footwear and it's too bad that I didn't find any clothing that I liked this time but I'll be back for sure and maybe next time I'll find something. I did see a purple Raptors sweatshirt and was on the lookout for other apparel and jerseys but didn't see any. There were many cashiers on at the time so waiting in line wasn't too bad and all the products lining the shelves definitely kept us from being bored.

There's a staff member at the entrance that takes your temperature and there's a bottle of hand sanitizer there as well. I wasn't sure if the fitting rooms would be open. I was told that they are with a limit of 6 items allowed to be taken in. There's physical distancing tape on the floor by the fitting room as well as the cash registers. Also, each employee has plexiglass separating them from each other as well as the customer. By the cash registers there's a large bin where you can drop off gently worn clothing to be donated through local shelters across Canada. Donated Uniqlo down items that can't be worn again are recycled into new products.

The service from the staff is very wonderful, always greets you when you walk into the store. If you are trying to put things together or just browsing, they are available to always assist. The presentation of the clothing is outstanding, it makes to want to buy. The value of the product is excellent.
