I contacted Brock's Tree Service about trimming back several trees in my backyard. One tree branch was hanging over a neighbor's power line and another large tree limb fell on my patio roof and had damaged it. There was an additional tree that needed to be trimmed due to some of the branches hanging over my roof that had become a highway for squirrels. Brock came out the same day I called him to assess what needed to be done and gave me a quote. The following week he and his crew came and took care of those issues. They arrived early, were courteous and professional and most importantly, they did a great job including cleaning up after the work was completed! I should've paid attention to the reviews I just spent $260 on firewood that burns black and smokes after I specifically asked him as long as it burns I don't care the extra money that it cost to have it stacked OK if it burned, I wouldn't care that they just piled it all on my porch. I specifically asked him if it would burn, he said yes with the fire emojI, we had to open bedroom windows, because the smoke was burning. Our eyes, his honesty leaves a lot to be desired! Brocks did an excellent job of cutting down, grinding down and removing and cleaning up many large/tall (ie over 15-20 feet all of them) arborvitae and 2 medium size sculptures pine front entrance trees and quite a few boxwood bushes in my large front landscaping for a very good price. Neighbors recommended them and they were spot on. The Brocks owner immediately answered my email/text, and then by me taking majyy try pictures of the landscaping tress/bushes and me giving good descriptions of the situation, the owner was able to text/email to me an immediate estimate. I agreed to it immediately and they were able to do next day. Granted this was end of November and I know they probably (?) were not be as busy (I would recommend this date for cutting and grinding trees/bushes down). The final cost was very very close to estimate (which I fully understand some unexpected "surprises" will always show up that might be cost up a little -- but a very small amount). They cleaned up very well and were very professional throughout and always talked with me first at appropriates distant outside as to what they knew they were to do exactly and offered very helpful advice when I asked for it. Absolutely NO pressure/sales tactics from the at all. I would highly recommend them to everyone! I am not sure why there are 1or 2 star reviews of it -- I didn't even coming close to experiencing what others experienced in their low reviews at all. read more

I'm not happy at all. I told the estimator what I wanted done with my trees especially my beautiful ash tree in the backyard. I just wanted the dead wood trimmed from the inside. They cut all the lower beautiful LIVE branches off because they felt they were too low. They called too early and I wasn't up to check to see what they were doing. I think they should have checked first to make sure what I wanted. read more

They did work at my neighbors house. They dumped oil all over the street (not a little, a lot) in from of MY house and drove their equipment in MY yard. I complained to the company. Came home today to find EVEN more oil dumped in the street in front of my house. read more

I am not a customer of Brock's and never would be one. I was driving home from work and he came within inches of hitting my car because he failed to yeild while merging onto hey 364 from hey 94. Apparently he can't even read or doesn't care enough about others on the road enough to drive safely. He did not acknowledge me or what he did. He also had a ton up license plate that was not readable and I bet did not even belong to the trailer he was hauling that almost hit me. I would not trust this person any where around my house. The only reason I picked one star is because you can't post without picking a rating. read more
