The service staff was pretty bad in general and acted like they were doing us a favor and pretty much went out of their way to ignore normal requests. It was almost like they from the hospitality program at the local high school. For instance we ordered a more expensive bottle of AOC wine. So it was fine to wait for it. Jacket potato was very nice. You won't be hungry after. The tomato soup was a bit on the thick and sweet side. The fries were crispy and hot. The meat in the steak sandwich of high quality. Very juicy and tender. Prices for all items very fair. All in all a good lunch. Nice setting, very comfy and relaxed.

I was going to stay at the hotel and I should have done as the rooms have all the facilities and a buffet breakfast as well as being reasonably priced, well in Beaumaris anyway. I did however stop for a drink. The hotel does look dated inside and it seemed busy with lots of staff milling around and guests of all ages included four-legged friends. The young and old seem to separate themselves. Younger folk running in and out of the venue or relaxing in the bar area. The older crowd get the sea views at the back sat in beautiful chesterfield chairs having cream tea or ice cream. Well worth a stay or visit.

When we arrived the toilet had dried urine and pubic hair on the loo rim. Dead spiders in the bath and old cobwebs all over. I could not find a smoke detector either. A real concern with kids in bed. I voiced my concerns after but the information was dealt with in very unprofessional manner. I was accused of chasing a refund. I would recommend the location but not the accommodation. Such a shame. Beaumaris is lovely though. The owner of the property has now reported me to guestscam accused me of cannabis use (I dont smoke) and aggressive behaviour. I rest my case. I need not write another word. Review was fair and to the point. This is the only property I have ever complained about and I travel a great deal.

It was a perfectly…read morequaint cottage- cosy, comfortable& well furnished .the photos on the web sites do not do this cottage justice . It is charming & quaint & a pleasure to stay in . The kitchen was very well equipped just like home from home , with every pan , knife etc I needed to cook a great meal , all was spotlessly clean . The bed was comfy & the log fire blasted out the heat. The location was perfect for unspoilt scenery in every direction. The proprietor Mrs Elphick was a charming hostess & left me a birthday card & bottle of wine & said as there were no guests the morning we checked out we could have a long lie in if we wanted. I travelled with my son and we felt like being members of the family. We had a gorgeous breakfast in the kitchen with the owners and the room was very clean and spacious.
