Just last week we stayed at Lleiniog cottages. As always with Snowdonia and Anglesey the setting is guaranteed to be great, and it was. Places of interest like the nearby Priory and the town of Beaumaris, great scenery etc. The Accommodation was also great. Set back off a quiet road surrounded bu country side and literally one minutes walk to a lovely beach. The cottage itself was a lovely listed building with some great old features but also a modern well equipped kitchen. the cottage grounds were very clean as was the cottage itself. In fact it was very clean considering it was up a gravel driveway and in the country. No reports of any insect life either! It was clear to see that Felicity (the owner) took great pride in the appearance of her property. We had our three sons with us aged 21, 16 and 14 and Bella our dog and we all came away quite rested although we had plenty of excercise and fresh air, and with no complaints whatsoever (well maybe that the lads missed their WiFi, but that was part of the break). I booked a last minute break with my six year old son and daughter 19 years.Felicity was on hand to greet us and gave us a lovely tour of the cottage and gardens.My little one was allowed to play in the garden and enjoyed making up his own mini olympics! Our cottage was the largest with nice open fire and wood burning fire in the main rooms.The bathroom is nicely decorated and kitchen well equipped.Felicity has made the cottage comfortable without it losing any of its original charm.The only suggestion i would make is a larger bed in the main bedroom as my husband is tall and i like plenty of room to spread out in bed.Across the road is beautiful views of Snowdonia and a beach suitable for a good walk and cave discovery for the kids witout even taking the car out. read more

We have just returned from 9 blissful days at Lleiniog (21 30th July) That being our FIFTH holiday there since 2009. The Bothy was spotlessly clean and welcoming on our arrival with all bedding, towels etc being fresh and clean. Bathroom and kitchen very clean and smelling wonderfully fresh. We have NEVER had any issues in all of our visits. Staff are welcoming, friendly and eager to help and make your stay as good as possible. Lleiniog is in a perfect location with a lovely beach just minutes away, it is a perfect idyll retreat for anybody wanting a relaxing and peaceful holiday yet close to ammenities for those with children. We stayed at llieniog cottage last year in August , the cottage was spotless , beds clean and bedding and everything else. We had a marvellous time and rebooked again for 11/8 , we found the owners very helpful kind and nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to a week there again . read more
