The building is handicap accessible and has a nice waiting room (although, as with every waiting room, I wish the tv was quieter). Best of all: an OPEN MRI is available! FINALLY!!!! The office is lovely and inviting, not to mention it smells wonderful! There are many options for keepsakes-- sonograph photo frames, plush, magnets to display baby's first picture-- all adorable. The price is very fair for the experience. I chose the 15 minute 2D session for $75. Fifteen minutes may not seem like a long time, but I was able to see my little one from every angle and savor every moment Ashley could not have been more kind, considerate, and professional. She went out of her way to make me comfortable, and reassured me that this pregnancy is healthy and thriving! After my miscarriages this year, I felt so cared for and I can't express how much that meant-- you definitely don't get the same experience as going to your regular OB-GYN. Ashley also offers SneakPeak early gender testing which was very exciting! She assured me that she's performed 100+ tests for clients and has had a 100% success rate for gender determination accuracy. The test is available to order online and perform at home, but I preferred to have her do it so I had the assurance of a clean and accurate blood draw to feel confident in the results. She had me thoroughly wash my hands, she washed her hands very thoroughly, and she performed the test in a room where no men are allowed so as to ensure an uncontaminated environment. So I looked around for an open, stand up machine in the Louisville area with no luck. In fact there the closest is this one in Mishawaka. We had been trying to get up to Amish country so it seemed like a good idea to combine this with that since the cities are only about 30 minutes apart. The staff here is really nice and very helpful. Nicole makes the appointment, gathers the information and checks you in when you arrive. Liz is the Tech that conducts the tests. The MRI machine is open, very comfortable and somewhat quieter than others I've been in. If you are claustrophobic at all this is where you want to go.

The staff is always friendly from the admissions to radiology. I don't recall ever waiting more than 15 minutes, & that was during a busy morning. Tip: Friday mornings always seem busiest. Recently I went for an X-ray on a knee that has been troubling me for several months. I went on a Friday afternoon & got right through. My X-ray was done through the jeans I had on. Pretty cool....no undressing. Not always the case of course depending on what you're there for.

After nearly an hour wait they ask me if I have any other errands to run and come back in 2 hours! No. I explained my predicament but all I got was an apology with her saying she had hoped to get me in before a scheduled CT but they got here first. I happen to know a chest xray is pretty quick. Why couldn't they tell me when I got there??? I already can't breath and sitting there under the mask was rough. So I took my order and went to Northwest Health at Roosevelt. Won't be back to Franciscan if I can help it.
