The campgrounds are well maintained, roads are gravel and each permanent trailer spot has a good size plot of land. You feel comfortable enough to spread out a little and enjoy. As a community people are friendly and there are lots of families and the sounds of laughter and general good mood. The facilities include a splash pad that is extremely impressive, a heated pool, a playground, a natural pond, a hot tub, a picnic pavilion, a general store, a volleyball court, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, an outdoor chapel, walking trails, activity rooms and children's activities on the weekends. For weekend campers they also have washrooms in site. This is a great campground.

My fiancé and I just finished our stay at Valens yesterday. Will have to say, was very…read moredisappointed.. first, we could not swim during our entire stay due to the ecoli. Second, there was no actual office at all, only for staff. And this was only discovered after my fiancé walked the entire road down there from our campsite. Third, the food truck was extremely expensive, the food didn't taste very good at all, and the beach store was closed the whole time. Fourth, because we were next to the washrooms, we could hear the bathroom doors slamming closed all night long, and people talking, all past quiet hours. Fifth, the firewood they sell at the camp store doesn't burn at all and we could only start a fire by buying firestarters.. Lastly, there is no proper sidewalk for pedestrians to walk if you do not have a car or bike, so it felt very unsafe... The best part in all this was the camp store and the showers. Showers were close to the campsite walking distance which is really nice and the camp store was open great hours and had everything. All in all, I don't think we would be camping here again. It was nothing like we expected.

At the campground, the lots for trailers are a nice size and have electricity hook ups. They have a metal fire pit too. There is a nice field to play anything you want at plus bathrooms with showers at both ends. There is a store selling goods plus wood, but it closes early, even on a Saturday. It's pitch black at night with no lighting so make sure you bring a flashlight. Enjoy!

Our experience camping at Milton Heights campground was not a positive one. It is an ok campground…read morewith limited facilities. The site was uneven, the sites really need some improvements and upgrades. Gravel parking spots would be great and some pull through sites for larger rigs would be helpful. There are so many rules and management is micro managing the park, driving around continually. The office lady, maybe owner not sure, is not very friendly. She comes across as being kind of aggressive. Visitors are charged $7.50 each to come in the park. We had friends come in and pick us up to do a day trip with us; it cost them $15 to come into the park for probably 10 minutes to pick us up and didn't use any facilities, while in the park. I asked the office gal what the $15 charged was paying for, and she wouldn't answer, just said it's the rules. They couldn't have used the bathroom behind us anyway, it was out of order the whole time we were there. Suggestions for improvements- working restrooms; gravel parking spots; water hookups , where the hose doesn't fall into a cement hole; pull through sites for bigger rigs; garbage bins in more than one area (only one was near the entrance); less fees for visitors; and friendlier staff/management. Campgrounds should be run by friendly, inviting staff/management, so people want to stay there and return, as well as tell their friends for more future business/campers. They have what could be a pretty campground and inviting, but need some improvements and an attitude adjustment to encourage campers to recommend and return to the park.

The services are fairly light. You can recharge your Presto card, buy a coffee or tea, or use the facilities. Parking is pretty bad. You'll be lucky to find a spot, although many naughty commuters park (illegally but generally without consequence) in the Superstore parking lot. They encourage the use of an auxiliary parking lot. At Lisgar station. I'm not kidding. There are buses to be had, too, on a much more regular schedule. It's no union station. But it gets the job done.

I've only ever disembarked here, of course. As I said, it's well located in the 'Saug, so you can drive from here to square one or up to Courtney Park.

This is one of the more central stations, so there's a plethora of people that are on the platform. The GO train itself is a pleasant ride in. Decent seating, clean and not that long of a ride from Cooksville into Union (if there are no delays - don't get me started..) My only real beef with this line (and the reason for a missing star) is the crappy, limited schedule. The last train from Union is just after 7pm! If I work late, I'm then forced to take the bus or an Uber home. The lakeshore line runs until 1:30am - c'mon GO, give us more flexibility!! In ending, I have to say that my favourite part of the whole GO train experience is watching the few nuts running at full speed off the train and into their cars to beat the others, haha. CHOO CHOO!!

When I went last time, we had no issues with our dog, however a friend tried to take her dog and they were sadly turned away so you'll have to check beforehand! Coffee is great and I've had their green smoothie before which I also highly recommend. The last time I ordered I believe an apple cinnamon croissant. The taste was good, but the croissant was quite dry. I probably wouldn't order it again, but wouldn't be opposed to trying other food options, as they all looked great. Overall, the Pearle is our go-to coffee spot. Weekends are busy (as expected), so you might have to wait for a table on your Saturday/Sunday's.

They offer valet parking onsite, otherwise there are many city-owned (free after 6pm) and private lots that are located nearby and accessible. They have a restaurant (Isabelle Restaurant) and cafe (Pearle's Cafe) located on the second floor, right above the main lobby area. We visited the cafe to grab a small snack and drink before heading over to the restaurant. There were lots of seating available!
