As a therapist in training, I was so curious about her and her journey that I gave her a call. That was a life-changing decision because now she's my mentor! She roots me on, sees my power and strength, and challenges me in the most loving way possible. She has guided me in understanding and empowering me to channel my most authentic self and as an Asian-American womxn in this white, patriarchal society. Her teachings stem not only from her inner wisdom but also from her personal experience and actions. She definitely practices what she preaches. She is living proof of inner strength, power, and love. Her heart and soul is so real, genuine, authentic, that I can feel my own heart and soul wanting to break through all its layers just so it can be with her. She truly brings the best out of me. She is an incredible role model to me, one that I wish all young Asian-American girls can experience. When I spend time with her, I leave feeling an energetic shift, like something inside of me is either rising to the surface, being healed, being seen, or being loved. Dr. Rachel offers tools for coping with the roots of codependency and how to recover, heal and move forward from the threads that remain. She is present, supportive, intuitive and clear with a deep understanding of real life issues. Meals are prepared on site with individual dietary desires for each participant taken into consideration. We all agreed it was possible Rachel missed her calling as a chef! Magnificent lodging house, plenty of rooms, great group & dining areas, trails nearby, a truly beautiful setting. Dr. Rachel facilitates the week at a workable, helpful pace. While I've gone to…read morea few "traditional " therapists over the years that have helped, no one has come close to helping me in the way that Patricia has. The hypnosis for me was more like a deep meditation (and everyone experiences it differently), and helped me realize I was holding on to unnecessary stress and guilt. She also gave me countless exercises and tips that I still use all the time. She honestly helped me realize that due to my anxiety, I was framing a lot of my experiences in a very negative light, and that was impacting my daily life. While I was skeptical about going at first, working with Patricia really, really helped me, and made a very positive impact on my life. I highly, highly recommend her!

Simply put, she made a diagnosis which she was unqualified to make (and inevitably completely wrong about). Jen is empathy personified, balance, curiosity, body- and mind-centered, appreciative of all aspects of what it is to be a person, but without any judgement at all. For regular therapy sessions, convenience is key. Jody is straight forward and just what I was looking for. Give her a try if you are looking for someone to talk to - professionally that is.

I'm not sure what happened. Maybe she was out of her league or her personal business was getting in the way of doing her job. Being in therapy can be very intense, and there were times when I felt like she was uncomfortable and didn't want me to keep saying what I was saying. Billing was a nightmare. She openly said, many times, that she hates paperwork and billing stuff and that she would only be doing it every 2-3 months. If you rely on submissions to get reimbursed, and she makes a mistake, you're screwed because of how long it will take to get it fixed.

The sessions with Keith helped us realize that we had lots to improve on as parents and that we were not necessarily giving instructions well or consistently holding her accountable when she was not following directions. The sessions for us helped us realize what our child needed from us and what we needed to do to reinforce that for certain things she would need to follow directions or there would be consequences. Our relationship with our child improved dramatically and I think because our daughter could feel it too, there was a lot less threatening if you don't do this, then blah blah blah and a lot less yelling. Would definitely recommend.
