I was assured that the tan would be flawless and a light, natural glow -- exactly what I asked for. What I got was the exact opposite: a streaky, orange mess that looked anything but bridal. The spray tan artist told me she had "four years of experience" and that I'd be thrilled with the result -- right before hurrying me out to get to her next appointment. My knuckles and hands? Burnt orange. I spent hours scrubbing them in a panic, trying not to look like an Oompa Loompa in my wedding photos. I had to literally use a Brillo pad & dish soap The tan was patchy, uneven, and frankly, awful. Thank God for my gown being long sleeves -- but even with that, I still looked orange underneath and mg dress was entirely backless. I've had better results from a Mystic booth unfortunately To be fair, I do have friends who've had good experiences at GLOW -- so maybe this was more about the individual technician and the fact she was clearly rushing or didn't see the concern in this being my bridal spray tan, But the reality is, getting a bad spray tan two days before your wedding should have been taken more seriously. She made it easy to understand the entire process and guided me through the appointment with aftercare instructions as well. I didn't have any streaking or uneven areas. I just wish my legs had come out darker. They are still fairly pale. That being said I am a fair person by nature, red hair hair and freckles so I'm sure she didn't want to go too dark as it would look unnatural. I will ask her to go darker on the legs for my next visit, since I definitely plan on returning.

Before I started treatments I asked to do a spot test on my ankle to see if I had any reaction, which they were happy to accommodate (for free). Nothing bubbled up and I returned the next week go start treatments. They are also very accommodating with appointments, I've had a few last minute cancels (ie weather, etc) and they didn't mind moving me around last second.
