Amazing professional staff everyone is friendly and always happy love going to this place

I haven't stopped by in months, I stopped in today and before I even walked in Vic saw me walking through the parking lot and had my room set up and ready to go before I was able to say hi. That's 5 star service! Every time I stop in the staff makes you feel like you're VIP. That's why Electric Beach is the only tanning salon I'll go to. I purchased a Groupon after I saw that this place had decent reviews. I went about two weeks ago and was so disappointed with my spray tan that I had done on my legs. I will say this, I am VERY fair and have lots of veins to cover so I was not expecting to come out with those all covered. I asked for the lighted tan and I didnt get that. There were also tons of streaks and I thought it was pretty noticeable. Itt was not to bad when I walked on but after it sad and he next day when I took my shower, it was not any better and not much lighter. Disappointed, just wont go back. read more

I can't sing enough praises for this salon and their employees!! Professional, accommodating and beyond that, make you feel welcome and at ease. They also have great snacks, shakes & iced coffee at the counter! Good location- plenty of parking. I've been tanning here since Hollywood tans in New Rochelle closed down. I love it there. I also get my eyelash extensions done for almost 2 years now. I have tried almost everyone there now. Both Ashleys Have both done an incredible job. Bianca is an absolute sweetheart and does a great job Syl (sorry my spelling is bad) was the first one to do them, she promised to tell me when I needed a break and she did. They've been more then accommodating with my crazy schedule. And the woman who does eyebrow threading is the nicest woman ever and did a great job. Prices are good. And when you keep getting packages you get a reduced price as long as you still have a current package. Lotions are great too. Over all, great place. read more

I am so grateful to Bianca who manages this establishment. She is a true professional who has incredible customer service and people skills. I have encountered a death of a very dearly loved aunt and a few other set backs that either directly or indirectly affected me. I really was worn thin and felt as if one more thing - however small would be the straw that broke the camels back. I found Bianca to be accommodating, attentive, down to earth and incredibly patient. She made a very difficult period in my life less stressful by simply working with me about my tanning and product needs. (she even gave me her personal cell phone number, which truly surprised me) Additionally, the place is immaculate and modern. The equipment is varied and state of the art offering many tanning options and the staff - Bianca, Victoria and Taylor (among others) were always attentive and so very accommodating that it was a pleasure to visit or speak with any of them on the phone. I would highly recommend Electric Beach in Scarsdale. You'll come away with an awesome tan and a pleasant, inviting and relaxing experience. There is plenty of free parking and absolutely convenient business hours. You'll come away looking and feeling like a million bucks... I was searching for a place for a airbrush tan and came across electric beach and cannot be more satisfied. The ease of making an appointment and then fitting me in with such short notice is only the beginning of my great experience. Marissa did my spray tan and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She was super nice and knew what she was doing. It came out great. I also enquired about eye lash extensions and they called me back with available appointments. Ashley was amazing!!!! I read online it could take 2 hours and when I get there she said it could be an hour and a half but she finished sooner than that. We laughed and had such a good time. I've been to many tanning salons in Westchester over the past 12 years, and the experience has always been pretty much the same, so when a friend told me how much she loved Electric beach in Scarsdale, I wasn't expecting much. As soon as I walked in, I was surprised by the fun atmosphere and the energy of the staff. Bianca, the owner really made me feel welcome. They seemed to really appreciate my business, too. Nice decor and clean place. I went in for a spray tan. The place was completely empty. I was the only customer present. The worker was speaking very fast and did my spray tan in about 5-7min. I didn't understand what was the big rush. It wasn't like someone was waiting to be taken care. The spray tan looked great. However after the 12hr lapse period for showering, the tan went down the drain. Spray tan was completely gone. Total waste of $. read more

I gave a 4 star because some of the tanning beds i feel are not very hot. I do have to say that Bianca gets beyond 5 stars because she is helpful, accommodating, kind with a great personality that rocks. She is there on Mondays so check it out, tans are just 10.00 before noon and before taxes :) read more

I have been to many tanning beds and usually don't take the time to give a review, however, I feel this place needs to be reviewed. I was brought to Electric Beach bc I had a Groupon. The basic bed is actually quite good of the money. The place it's self is very clean and I love that they offer smoothies and other things. I had my eyebrows threaded there which was nothing special but I liked the convenience of it being right there. I also decided to try out their eye lash extensions. Flags probably should have went off when I saw the price was only $40! I however, was even more enticed to try it out. BIG mistake!!! The girl applying them seemed nice and presented herself well so I wasn't really nervous. Once she actually began the process it all fell apart. First off she had me keep my eyes open, which not only burns horribly it is the wrong way to apply them. She then seemed upset that I was in such pain and had to keep stopping. Once finished I did love how they looked. They felt a bit uncomfortable but I figured that was because I was new at this. The discomfort never went away and was followed by my eyes being severely irritated non stop the entire next day. I needed them off! She applied way too much glue to the point that they were matted together and to my skin, which was another big no no. I was not about to let that women near my eyes again, I went and bought my own remover and took them off myself. Please don't be fooled by the great deal.. It's not a great deal, unless you want to have serious eye problems following your appointment. I understand everyone is different and obviously not everyone had the problems I did it she wouldn't be in business. I just recommend doing research before having your lashes done.
