Raquel taught me so many things in just a few hours of time together. I see which items have the most value and which are expensive mistakes that wouldn't be versatile enough to wear with other items in my closet. How did it work? The approach she used in my case was to review colors (by my request) and then Style, Shop, Style. She put together a bunch of outfits from head to toe with accessories and shoes out of my closet, before I bought anything. The next step was to go shopping - she made a shopping list based on wardrobe gaps that were preventing me from making more outfits. Then we met again to style the new items. She made multiple outfits from each of the items. We set aside some items for hemming and tailoring - which I've already gotten done. I learned how to put outfits together in a batch so I don't agonize over outfit making in the mornings when I haven't had coffee. And she sent me photos of almost 40 outfits she put together in the two styling sessions. I used those photos to pack for a 10 day business trip.
