She would get there with me to the parking lot , but then wouldn't go into the building. The counselor never once attempted to go out to speak to her. Counted her as a no show, and kicked her out of Counselling. Then two days later, I received a phone call to remind me of her upcoming appointment!! a year later, I called to request my daughter's medical records. Another nightmare! The front office said she wasn't sure how to do that. Told me the counselor is working from home and that she would need to call her and get back to me. I asked her to fax me a release of medical record form for my daughter to fill out is the usual practice. She said she would get back to me. She called back later and stated she would need my daughter to call because she turned 18 a couple of months ago. I told her that she shouldn't need to call just to have a release form faxed to me. She told me that I would need to have her call as this is what the provider told her. My daughter called and requested they fax the form. Now we are three weeks later and the form has not been faxed. This organization is unorganized and unprofessional. Everyone has the right to access to their medical records. I will be calling them to fax the form to me TOMORROW and if not I will be calling the state board of health to check out their organization to find out what the problem is here. This is horrible service for a mental health organization where people are already struggling. Obviously, I'm not impressed and don't recommend.

My apt was at 1:45 and I got a call at 1:19 stating he would not reschedule but would give me referrals. WHAT!?! I SAID I would come in sick of be would schedule and he waited over 3 hours that he would reschedule. The office personnel said you had a cancellation that I could probably get in but he was doing a favor for a friend so she'd have to check. Guess what, I bet that favor is more important than my daughter. My adolescent daughter is nothing but a number to this guy.

When I called her asking for clarification, she attacked me stating that I contacted her too many times while I was in crisis and that she cannot handle this anymore. Then she released a diagnosis she never discussed or even mentioned to me to another provider which calumniated the situation. For two years after termination, I suffered from PTSD symptoms as well as guilt because I thought that I was responsible for what happened. I tried to contact her to get clarification about my diagnosis or what happened, yet she never responded. It is not till I started seeing another provider did I came to know that what happened was not my fault and understand the extent of the damage she caused me. Despite all that I decided to try and put that horrible experience behind me and try to move on, yet she made that impossible as she decided to file a restraining order against me claiming that her life is in danger. I had to hire a lawyer to defend myself which is a great burden given my limited financial means. The case is still pending a hearing. Update: I lost the case, Dr. Sanders asked me in court to waive my rights and I did thinking that she will never disclose information I shared with her in private. Yet she not only did that, she also stated the information in a way to serve her purpose. I could not say anything against her in Court. It was really hard seeing her, I was unable to say anything against her in open court. I appealed without a lawyer and lost. Everything was taken out of context to make me look bad. I am still fighting to prove my innocence, yet I do not have much hope. Wish me luck!!
