There should be automated trams (street cars!) that allow people to get from the west to the east side, maybe all the way to the lakefront. Maybe extend that to go north and south too. But I digress.... Second, getting inside. It's always unnecessarily stressful and never enough people scanning tickets (or paying attention). Now let me gripe about the escalator situation. I want to believe there are 2 sets but I have only ever seen the one at the main entrance. Stairs are also difficult to find, and most of the doors have a warning that if you exit you cannot re-enter or alarm will sound. If you are here for a concert they usually only have 2 merch stands, both by the main escalator which generally impedes the flow of traffic. Drinks - lots of places to purchase and wildly over-priced. Food - are there a lot of food options? Yes. Are they all open? No. I feel like Fiserv Forum and the Deer District is an example of how newer isn't always better and that newer also does not equate to user friendly.

The shop inside is also very nice, and open to public even when there isn't a game on.

You can purchase parking when you arrive by scanning a QR code. It was really easy and made parking a breeze. There were some people tailgating which made me happy but not to the extent that we do it at home. It was a short walk to the stadium from there. Entry was painless and the staff were super friendly and ready to help with directions. The interior was well kept with multiple levels and so many different things to see. Everyone we encountered from staff to fans were friendly and super chill. The stadium is nice and was my first covered experience. They do open it weather permitting. We went on a rainy day so it was nice that it was covered. They had nice big screens, the seats were relatively comfortable, and they have fun engaging the fans. I wanted to go down the slide but that's only for the mascot. It would be fun though. They also have a little playground type areas for the kiddos. Food and beverages were reasonable priced. Cocktails and premium beer running around $17. In KC it's about $20. I tried the Bobbler Cocktail that came in a cute little baseball glass. And holy brandy was it strong! No complaints from me. I also located the craft beer bar and had to sample a local brew. They had a lot of options and was definitely a good value for the money. They had lots of vendors but I liked that they also have a cafeteria style kiosk where you can grab your items and go to self check. The hot dogs and nachos are pretty standard for ballpark food. But I had to get a brat. I believe they serve johnsonville ones and it was delicious. Brats at ballparks should be a thing everywhere. And again, prices were at or below what I would have expected. They also have lots of merchandise and even an X-Golf inside. Pretty sure the golf place is what this review will appear under but the stadium itself doesn't pop up. Apologies. Overall, I really enjoyed this stadium. I thought it was cool and everyone was friendly. I'd definitely return to watch another game. 5 stars from Kansas City.

They were playing against Chicago, so we knew it would be exciting, and it definitely was. There were about three player fights--showing some serious passion, but nothing too wild. The seats were comfortable, and even from the side, we had a good view of the game. The energy from the crowd was fantastic, though the cowbells got a bit much after a while--can't fault the team spirit, though! We found street parking nearby, which was a nice bonus, and the arena itself was fun to be in. Seeing the balloon and fan tron added to the experience. Overall, a really entertaining night, and I'd definitely come back for another game!

I've been here for Milwaukee Special Olympics events (soccer, flag football) and it's comfortable. Parking around the area isn't hard though it doesn't have a dedicated parking lot. I was sad to see the original historic stadium demolished a couple years back, it was just shy of a century old and they don't make them like that anymore. However, rebuilding (almost $10 million) was cheaper than renovation as the original had fallen into a sad state of disrepair. This is the home football and soccer fields for three MPS high schools, Bradley Tech, South Division and Bayview. The bleachers capacity is listed at 2,500 but I'm a bit dubious. The field is a high quality artificial turf.

I had only been to two other raceways in my entire life, until July 10th, 2018, when I went to…read moreSlinger Speedway at the behest of a friend who is a racing buff. On that particular night, an annual racing event was taking place, the 39th Annual SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals, a 200 lap Super Late Model race. As a quarter mile asphalt oval, the track is amazingly tiny. It takes only about eleven or twelve seconds for the cars to go one lap. (Take a look at my video). It is apparent, if you've done any type of tactical driving, that the skill level of the drivers is amazing. There were several heats prior to the main race and we saw only one minor accident. It's amazing because the speed and tight turns of the track calls for pin-point accuracy, especially considering the cars are merely inches OR LESS from each other during a race. The seating facility itself is old and worn out with bench seating, only. The spaces between the seats are VERY tight and if someone decides to attach a portable stadium seat chair, only a child could sit behind it and, at that, their knees would be crammed up. Additionally, I'm afraid that if an adult has a hard time walking or keeping their balance, the steep angle of the seating area is actually dangerous. The benches are NOT installed in stepped tiers; they are installed on angle to the hillside, only. Parking is available all around the raceway facility in empty lots and facilitated by parking attendants who direct you where to park. Parking is free. I noticed a lot of people eating popcorn, hotdogs, hamburgers and drinking beer, but I did not partake in any food or drink items while there. The race was a kick-in-the-ass. I really enjoyed it. For anyone who has never experienced a professional car race venue, this is the place to go.

Hell, there are even 12-year-old drivers - how can you not want to cheer them on and support their dreams. Matt Kenseth began his racing career at Slinger and he typically still races there once a year, usually against someone like Kyle Busch. The facility certainly isn't handicap friendly. I've seen wheelchairs, but I always wonder what poor soul had to push the wheelchair up the super steep incline to the seating area. That being said, there's always a good variety of food from hot dogs and icees to nachos and candy. In the past, there has been beer and Mike's Hard Lemonade for sale but, during my last visit (summer 2015), they were only selling beer. Most recently tickets were $10 and parking is free. I feel like Slinger is a pretty good deal all round. We bought my son earmuffs this summer because it was too loud for him and I still think the entire evening was less than $40 for three people. There's usually fireworks and there's often fun things like tricycle races for the kids on the track. Go to Slinger if you've never been! You'll have a blast!
