As much as I was looking forward to bowling with my kids, the man at the front desk did NOT want us there. The website says 9pm we arrived shortly after 7. He said it's 21 and up after 8 (multiple times) I tried to pivot with paying for 2 games for the remaining time. He said no. We tried to compromise and have just the kids to a lane, it was a bumper issue. He gave the run around multiple times for multiple scenarios. Stuck, we decided to go to the arcade. Pretty expensive older machines but made the best of it. While we played the games to waste time the bouncer made it very known we had to leave at 8 ( we still had 20 minutes) we left very disappointed and feeling extremely unwelcome read more

Very expensive for bowling. 5 people, 2 lanes, cost us almost $60. Plus they don't charge by lane, so it was 3 on one lane and 2 on the other. My group got it switched up at the lanes and our game ended halfway through and they said there was nothing they could do, and we basically paid $10 each for half a game. read more

What an oddly great place. If you want to bowl, play classic video games and experience and old school bar, this is it. Bowling is great and you can feel the smoke of the 1970's. The video game area is fun, but small. The bar has pool tables and is truly a throwback to the 1970's. No real food options that I saw, other than vending machines. Service is fine but basic. I look at as Land Mark Lanes has a long rich great history, and having Diamond Smart Bar Tables, it will help improve the business for promoting pool! Upgrade Bowling too, it all helps the business! I had some time to kill because my lunch restaurant across the street had the wrong the hours on the website so I stopped here not knowing what to expect because the door says 95 years old. It's down stairs with an arcade room, bowling alley and huge bar. The huge bar has 4 pool tables and is dark and divey which I like. The young woman with glasses who only works Sundays was very friendly and you could talk with her because I was the only one at the bar. The reason for 4 stars is because it's a throw back in time and the friendly bartender. If I lived in the area it would be a cool hangout spot read more

If you actually bowl and play any amount of hook DONT come here. No oil whatsoever. Not even sure they have a machine to oil the lanes. If you are coming here for kid's it's fine. Not sure why more bowling lanes don't have reviews from bowlers especially for out of town folk. read more

Great spot that matches the Milwaukee vibe really well. Acceptable tap list and drinks but nothing special here. They have a bunch of activities to do here including bowling, pool, darts, and a karaoke bar some nights. Vibe is dark and divey - a great spot to hang with friends. Had an amazing time- there were 11 of us, got drinks, played two rounds of bowling with shoes, and arcade games for less than $150. So fun and affordable. Also shout out to Ron who was working the desk. He was so patient with our kids needing to exchange their shoes for different sizes, and get reimbursed for games that didn't work in the arcade. He even fixed a toy that broke for two of our girls. By the end of the evening we were calling him uncle Ron. read more

Came to this place with a co-wrker after a long day to relax and enjoy ourselves our server was Rosalie (brown hair, shitty attitude)) first off my co wrkers drink was watery as ever no liquor at all, we told her about it she continued to keep the shitty attitude and ignore us the barback finally approached us and gave her a new satisfying drink. First time here, came with friends from out-of-town, 4 adults and 4 kids (10, 7, 6, and 3) Bowling: Pros 1) Half priced games from 5-7pm at least on Tuesday when we went Cons 1) Kids bowling balls all have gouges and cracks in them causing them to head to the gutter 99% of the time. 2) My friends who brought their own bowling balls (kids and adults) were told not to use their own balls because the ball return got stuck 2x 3) The lanes seem slanted or tilted, it's an old alley but there is zero percent chance the lanes were even close to level 4) Their bumper system is broken so my 6 and 3 year old lasted 4 frames since the gouged balls just headed to the gutter Arcade - games were fairly priced and all the classics were there and working Bar - Tuesday was $3 pints so this made up for a lot of the bad experiences bowling. They had plenty of variety and also had darts and pool available. Vending machines - $1 each for a large bag of Skittles and M&M's was a great value Location - plenty of parking on street, don't have to pay after 6pm, right around the corner from Crossroads Collective which has a great variety of restaurants Overall if you have kids don't bring them here for bowling, but the arcade is nice and the location has plenty of other great places to visit within walking distance (check out Sip and Purr Cafe if you are in the area) read more

Fun spot downtown for bowling, games, and more! Came specifically for the bowling which was super cheap -- $4.50 per game ($2 during happy hour Mon-Thurs 5-7 pm) and $2 for shoe rentals! We paid for 2 games upfront and had no issues adding a third later on. There are about 16 lanes or so and the bowling area has a cute vintage feel to it. Equipment maybe a little older as there were a few times when the pins were set up that 1 would accidentally get knocked over before we actually bowled a ball, but we didn't mind the extra help :) I do wish their bowling ball selection was a bit more organized and expansive. I was looking for lighter options and could not find any -- not all the balls had the weights labeled clearly so unsure if they didn't have any/were already taken/I overlooked them. The lightest ones I found were 10 lbs. We stayed and played some of their arcade games too which ranged from pinball to skeeball to foosball and more! Some machines take bills and some only take change but there is an ATM and change machine on site. There were also plenty of people there just to enjoy food/drinks or play pool. We walked since we live close by so did not have to worry about parking but only street parking around like a lot of areas of downtown. read more

Been here multiple times. Came on 3/8/23. Had my group's IDs checked at the door. Came with my two friends. My friends has to go back to the car, so we ordered our drinks while they were gone at the bar. I ordered two rail mixers and a mini-pitcher for the group. They did not ask me for my ID. Later on, my friends returned and tried to order drinks, the bartender grilled her, asked her who the drinks were for and who was paying, then asked for her ID--which had been checked to get in. She informed her of this. The bartender wanted to check anyway "Bc ppl are bowling" my friend informed her that she was not bowling and just wanted a drink. The bartender refused to serve her. A few moments later another employee approached our table saying that because it was after 9 and bowling was over they were checking IDs. We informed her that our IDs had already been checked, at this point it was 10:30 so well after 9pm anyway. We called BS and she said another employee claimed to have seen my friend coming from bowling. WE DID NOT BOWL, and no one in my group even walked to that side of the building. The employee then said that the doorman was unreliable and known to leave the door unattended which is why they check again inside (??? Hire a new door man idk?). My friend then spoke with the manager who repeatedly cut my friend off and spoke over her when trying to voice her concerns and how she felt harassed. To check someone's ID multiple times a night at a basement bowling alley is ludicrous. We were the only table approached and we just happened to be of color (:/) I have truly never felt so offended in an establishment in my life. I would not recommend. read more

Very disappointed with our experience last night. We usually love to come here to do karaoke but last night was a different story. The man running karaoke put his hands on me multiple times. I simply went up to him and asked why he was straight up ignoring my friend that was trying to request a song. Before ignoring her he also goes 'you're going to show that much skin?' She was wearing an off the shoulder sweater. Not really sure why he would even care what anyone is wearing or have a reason to sexualize guests. We all ended up walking to a different area because of it. When I went back up and asked him why he acted like that he shoved me multiple times out of the bar. Make sure you bring 2 forms of ID if you're from out of state and are trying to get in after 9. They will not accept literally anything else but a license and another form of identification like a passport. Landmark is a fun spot. It is definitely divey -- you get that feel as you walk down the stairs. They have darts, pool, arcade games, and of course bowling. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. Their drinks are relatively cheap and service is quick. Playing pool can be a bit intimidating since it seems like the same 6 guys spend most of their time there. If you feel intimidated go to the room that isn't furthest in the back -- the one that is closer to the bowling alley sans darts. I definitely want to spend more time here -- especially during those bitter winter months! read more

Bald fat guy at the door was a total douche bag. Told us he doesn't except temporary ID's, which is fully illegal by the way, and denied our 25 year old friend because he only had a picture of his ID. Said that you need to be 21+ (which we all are) no matter what time you come in, even thought it says 21+ AFTER 9 PM. We entered at 8:30, but didn't think it would be an issue because we ARE ALL WELL INTO OUR TWENTIES. Parking on the East side is never great. Landmark Lanes is no exception. I recommend taking an Uber or Lyft. Great beer selection and specials. Was able to get a pitcher of Founders All Day IPA for $10. Good beer at a good price. The bowling set up/procedure is interesting. I've always paid at the start of bowling so paying afterwards is a new concept for me. Went up to the counter, asked for my size in shoes (they have 1/2 sizes!) and then I stood there like an idiot because I was waiting to be told how much I owed. So I asked and then I was told you pay afterwards. Something to be noted, lots of alleys have a maximum of 6 people on a lane, their maximum is 5. There are fun themes to pick from for your scoring screen. Jukebox has a great music selection and isn't outrageously overpriced. Overall a fun night of beer, bowling, music and pool. read more

You Really have to watch your bar tab here because you stand a strong chance of getting charged for something that isn't yours. There's bowling... it's pretty dark. Went there with our friends and our daughters and had a horrible experience. The staff mainly the person at the front desk was completely rude from the start. There was a misunderstanding and when we tried to get it resolved the guy immediately started yelling at us and using profanity in front of our kids. When I asked to speak to the manager he told me to go and find him myself and he called the "security" guy and told him to make us leave. I was never disrespectful towards this individual and felt completely humiliated and my daughter was scared.
