So first things first?…read more What exactly is The UNT New College at Frisco? Think of it as a school where all the big businesses in the area got together, told UNT what kind of things they'd love to see in graduating college kids, and then UNT made programs tailoring to that. Bam. You've got the Frisco campus. No, it's not just a business school, although a heavy focus of the curriculum is put on accounting, finance, things like writing press releases, fund raising, public relations, etc. All sorts of things are taught there that corporations have a huge desire to see more focus on. Another key thing about the Frisco location is that it is predominantly all night classes, so it's tailor made for those already in the work force, maybe those wanting to get a different degree or even further an existing degree. You can still come here and do some basics (I took chemistry and a psychology course here) but they are typically afternoon to evening courses. Lots of the commuter students at the main Denton campus like the Frisco campus because parking is free and PARKING IS FREE. Yeah. It's worth putting twice. Plus they are super freaking friendly here. They always great you with a smile when you walk in, they give you free swag all over the place and I swear...It's like they remember you paid them to go there or something. Amazing. They cater food in all the time for all students and you can rent a laptop, use a printer, get scantrons, all free. Instructors are fantastic. I hope they offer more daytime options for core classes. It's a great facility.

The volunteer and staff were so kind and informative; they made the process smooth and quick. I encourage everyone (if you can) to go out there and vote early! It's a quick and rewarding experience.

Dallas College is a nightmare. Financial Aid is completely messed up all the time. The schedule…read moreis never correct. Classes that should be there are left off and instructors that left years ago and will not be teaching are still listed. Opt-out does not work after a year of trying to get help through every avenue possible. Emeritus students get dumped 4 times a semester for non-payment when their classes are supposed to be free. The employees are wonderful, but they are not trained and nothing ever gets fixed. Implementing Workday has been a complete disaster and has done nothing but cause problems for everyone. Students will spend hours on the online queue only to get dumped without being helped. Going on campus for services takes hours and one will be shuffled endlessly from one department to another as no one knows how to do anything. Communication is absolutely terrible across the board. Dirty professors like Dr. Andrew Evangelista will put students into dozens of hours that will not transfer, but will exhaust financial aid and may land students in out of state tuition upon transfer. Despite numerous complaints nothing is done to stop rogue professors like him. He was a temporary Music Department Chair and now has been named a permanent one. He added junior level classes that can never transfer and has expanded the music program into complete collapse. Who wants to sing in a choir of 7? Dallas College is a disorganized and chaotic mess. When will the administration and the board start listening to students, paying parents, taxpayers and graduates of the program and making the desperately needed changes?

Attended 2012-2013 for the DA program. Was told at time of…read moresign up that there would be job placement after graduation. Almost a year after graduation I finally had emails/calls returned stating that they had heard that I had gotten married and moved out of state and that they don't offer job placement. All along I still lived five minutes from the school, never found a DA job because everywhere within fifteen minutes of my residence required experience or to be bilingual. So thanks to Concorde I've never been able to get an apartment in my name since 2013 because I have bad credit due to owing 11grand in loans that I never signed up for. Almost a year after graduating, I had received a bill for eleven grand in student loans which I shouldn't have due to at time of sign up with register-I had only signed up for grants due to being a single mom with no income. At sign up, The registrar had told me if I signed up for all the grants available, that my schooling would be completely paid for. While being in the program, registrars were made to carry wallow talkie recording type devises because they were caught lying so much to potential new students on tours like they did to my class of girls. But those of us that got screwed by registrars and were already in the program, never got any help, remorse, apology, money back, nothing. The registrars also wouldn't let us sign up for dental hygiene program unless we did the DA program first.
