It's a typical beach side gift shop right on the Coney Island Boardwalk. If you're looking for some sort of souvenir, gift, shirt, sweater, hoodie, beach wear, flip flops, or accessory branded with Coney Island on it this place is worth looking around in. A bit pricey as can be expected right on the boardwalk but they do have a nice selection of merchandise to choose from. read more

This is your typical beach souvenir shop with some merchandise that has Coney island and Coney island attractions on it. It's a little overpriced, but for folks throughout a town it probably is OK. The things we need the most this summer were facemasks and I was hoping to get a Coney island one For my beach days. No such luck. They still have a full themed clothing, glassware, swimsuits, beach toys, towels, etc. The security guy sadly was the friendliest person there. read more

TERRIBLE DO NOT SHOP THERE IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD Management is rude. Employees are rude. Bought a $40 blanket. 40 DOLLARS. Unwrapped it thinking it would be a cute item and cool souvenir. WRONG. The "Coney Island" script on the blanket is tiny, off centered, and honestly on a ridiculous place on the blanket. Went to exchange it, and because we opened it and a tiny little corner touched the sand, THEY WOULDNT LET US EXCHANGE IT. Most ridiculous staff, items, and prices I have ever encountered. Now I'm stuck with an ugly blanket & down $40. Don't waste your time shopping. I'd have a better experience falling off the Cyclone than shopping here. read more

Crappy "register" people I've witnessed you have a lady who decides to bring her two kids like wth is this day care? So I stood there for about 5 minutes no one paying mind to me which I left the items there and once I was heading out he wanted to ring me up. This place is really cool! I don't understand why they have bad reviews. We came an hour and a half commute to Coney Island and everything was closed EXCEPT this place! Saving grace. Probably my first and last review. I'm OK with bad service and overpricing, but the one thing I will not stand for is accusing people of stealing. Worse yet accusing my eight-year-old daughter of stealing. The "Security" guard questions her when she is holding sunglasses because neither of her parents are standing right by her. You might say well maybe she was trying to take it but I was right around the corner and saw exactly what she was doing and not once did she even attempt to try and conceal it. Is she perfect? I walked in this establishment to look at the shirts before buying some of the reusable bags that they carry (by Baggu) and I had just bought a cold drink because it was a 90 degree day. I looked at the entrance before entering and saw no sign that asked that no food or drinks be brought in. In which case, my understanding is enter at your own risk: if you ruin something, you buy it. As an adult, who has appropriate fine motor skills and a respectful patron of local business I was willing to take the chance. Well inside the store and quietly looking at the merchandise, a male store worker, perched on his ladder, rudely goes "you can't have that in here." When I said "there isn't a sign that would have told me that." He got even more rude and said that "I should have KNOWN." Again, I said " how would I know when there is no sign telling me that is your policy?" He proceeds to call over the security guard just to be even more belittling and horrible. I calmly left the store with ZERO desire to give them my money going forward. The one star and point of me is wasting time posting this is simple: Invest in a piece of paper and sharpie and put the following sign in your window - "Please, no food or drinks." Simple. Concise. And then maybe your employee would be justified in yelling at, and humiliating someone. Until then, maybe do a little customer service training on how to talk to patrons without the condescending tone. You would be surprised how I respond when someone uses common decency in addressing me vs. what your employee did. read more

Yelled at by manager for trying to buy display. "Next time ask for assistance " she said. I would have if I knew who worked there and if they wore name tags. Or take the sold out items off the floor until it's replaced. Even after I apologized I was further berated. Nice product but poor service. I hope the girl was just having a bad day.
