What originally brought me to Hyland was a second opinion/consultation on a wisdom tooth that had developed a bad cavity in it and needed to be pulled. The thing was: my wisdom teeth came in straight, had room and were functional. The only reason the one needed to be pulled was because of an unreachable cavity. The original prognosis from Cochran DDS was that I'd need oral surgery to have the tooth removed. But when visiting Hyland Dental Care they offered to have to extracted that day and the procedure went with zero issues. A few years later I had them remove the other top wisdom tooth with no problems. From a cost perspective Hyland is the most cost effective dental provider I've had. The other thing is the service is much better than I had at other dentist offices, the staff are always friendly and nice to talk to. Also they are always concerned about how you are feeling during an operation. Also I've had Hyland Dental do a root canal and two fillings for me. The root canal was originally a pulp capping that I had done there previously but the nerve died on its own a few years later. They were able to just drill through the existing crown , do the root canal and fill the crown. This saved me close to 400$ on my procedure because a new crown wasn't needed. Out of all of the procedures I've had done here, I've never once had a bad experience, felt any pain or had an appointment canceled on me (I've seen this mentioned by others in comments, just thought I'd mention). As long as this office is around I'll always come here for my dental needs.

The office will not fix It will not talk to me and is acting as if I doesn't matter. I even filed a complaint with the Ohio Dental Board when I called the Ohio Dental Board to see what the outcome was. They told me I wasn't privy to that information. After my second hospital visit where I had to get a blood transfusion and almost died, I called the Dental Board back and they said that I never made a complaint and they have no record of it. The problem is I do. I have all the emails. So warning if you go to the dentist and they do something to you if you try to get compensation, it is very hard. They either have to kill you or permanently disable you. I have been sick since January I am fighting for my life and I have no teeth in my front mouth. Please take this as a serious warning!!

I've had multiple dentist in the past tell me "I recommend sealant, or a crown, etc. when I didn't feel like there was anything wrong with my teeth" the dentist at this place just said "your teeth look great." The hygienist was also very nice. One thing I didn't like, is the dentist seemed to only spend a minute or two looking at my mouth. Friday I…read morecalled around looking for a new dentist that accepts my insurance (Caresource Just4Me), and got an appointment for Tuesday (It could have been Monday but I was busy). They had me in-and-out in 20 minutes for some x-rays and were able to schedule my root canal the next day at 7am. I've had a root canal before, and a crown. This was by far my best experience, for the simple fact that they had a plastic sheet over my mouth so all the tooth bits, blood, and water isn't being blown into my mouth and swished around and suctioned out. They were fastidious and used other methods I didn't encounter with my previous experiences elsewhere. I was done within an hour and I'm at home now enjoying a lukewarm coffee and not having to deal with tasting blood and picking bits of tooth out of my mouth for the rest of the day. This dentist barely said more than "hello" and "open" to me, which was frankly, REFRESHING. For once I found a dentist who doesn't judge, doesn't make me cry, doesn't force me to politely laugh at his stupid jokes, or try to learn my life story while his fingers are in my mouth. He just sees the problem, and fixes it. The front-desk staff made up for the lack of bedside, as they were very compassionate about my pain and made every effort to be sure my insurance covered everything it could.

Not much happened about the reason of the visit. So a few days pass I see my original doctor at the other location and which she read the notes to me, which said nothing but refer back with Anne. Thats it that's all she said she did not start any paper work to switch me over and she did not refill any of my prescriptions or attempt to try too start that process. My Dr said she didnt do anything you said she was going too. Just said to see my original MD. In complete shock. Ive realzied most of the Dr here get paid no matter what happens to us. They go home to there family happy healthy with all the money we give. And not care of my scary health symptoms, i'm desperate for answers.I have a son of my own trying to do the hold a job and pay bills is my every moment struggle. I came to her for some kind of help anything. She gave me nothing... they don't care about you period they want the government money that we can provide for them.
