So I found Wyse Vapes on Yelp and wandered in this afternoon just to do some window shopping and maybe get a gist of what this whole vaping thang is about. Am I glad this was the first vape shop I went to, because Wyse Vapes is fabulous!!! First of all, the place is clean and airy (pun intended)--customers talking vapespeak and pluming away at the long spacious counter notwithstanding. On the left behind the counter shelves and shelves of e-liquids line the walls like a candy-colored apothecary. On the right in glass cabinets are a plethora of e-cigarettes, hookahs, box mods and vaping contraptions of all shapes and sizes. I must've looked like an idiot cuz I stood there bewildered and overwhelmed for what seemed like an eternity. One of the staff (Tanya, bless her) didn't make like a pushy salesperson and quietly waited behind the counter. But when I got over my initial discombobulation and asked for her help, she went above and beyond to show and explain the difference between (oh heck can I just call these doovalackeys "vaping gadgets"???) and let me test drive a few. With the patience of a saint she answered all my questions, even when I had to ask repeatedly (okay so I'm not good with mad scientist Rube Goldberg-esque stuff). Martin (the other staff guy) was equally helpful and neither of them made me feel like a dork for being a vaping noob. Tanya helped me find the perfect combination of atomizer & tank system. I was still overwhelmed by the sheer volume of e-liquid options, so I went for two basics: Sweet Tobacco and Blizzard, both of which I was allowed to sample at my leisure. The prices are fair and comparable to what you find elsewhere. Sure I could probably get what I got for $5-$10 less online, but let me just say that for the amazing customer service I received today, not only is that price difference negligible but it's well worth it. I went home happy and have been blowing smoke rings and geeking out with my new toy. No doubt I'll return to Wyse Vapes soon...if not for new e-liquid then for an extra atomizer cartomizer thingee or maybe even a bigger better box mod! Plume on, Wyse Vapes!

They completely…read morerenovated the entire space and created such a great vibe to hang out and meet up with some friends while enjoying their wide selection (probably biggest in Brooklyn) of vape e juice along with some awesome snacks that they provide or maybe even one of their insane iced coffee drinks. It's honestly more than just a vape shop it's like a second home to a lot of people. Everyone is extremely friendly and you will always meet someone new to talk to and enjoy a nice talk. I hear they are adding a few more really cool features to the shop so I'm definitely excited to see what will happen. Did I mention they have free parking in the back!

It's open late and the owner is very kind but he has to stock up on more varieties of hookah tobacco. The only flavor he had available was mint which is NOT my fave but I was desperate. I also decided to buy a shiny new, personal hookah for muah. Couldn't pass it up because she was so glassy and glamorous and for only twenty bucks. I was given a complimentary lollipop made by a brand called Tanya. That's me! My hookah was also made by the Tanya company which is super cool. NY Cigar & Vape has a nice variety of cigars as well and the store will cut it for you if you want to smoke right away.
