They are opened late, till 1am, and the selection is nice. The guy at front was really chill. Don't know if he's there every day but he's definitely someone you'd enjoy kicking back with over a bottle of beer. One odd thing - there are generally two types of vape/smoke places: 1) A smoke shop bodega with a poor selection, jacked up prices and with a middle Eastern guy running it who unfortunately has rudimentary English skills. 2) a super hip and trendy place that has all the vaping enthusiasts kicking back, blowing clouds, and indulging in their own perceived coolness. So the odd thing is that this place first gives off a vibe of a Middle Eastern bodega. But don't be fooled. As soon as you walk in and take a closer look, you'll find everything your vaping or smoking heart desires and then wrap it up with that chill dude at the register. Thumbs up from me. P.S. I noticed they were painting so I inquired and they told me they would be providing coffee and tea to the community. So I will start this review by sharing my experience with the coffee first and we can talk about the glass after. These guys are all about nourishing the community. They care about the people who live around them and it shows. the ingredients they used in the coffee were of the highest caliber and it was delicious! My girlfriend had the tea, I don't drink much tea but she was very impressed and said that they were carrying "rishi" Which I'm assuming is holy grail tea because she couldn't stop raving about it! When it came to the glass the approach was very similar, only focusing on the highest caliber products. Good American tempered glass. truthfully I didn't know much about glass when I came in I was just looking for a healthier alternative for smoking. Being in Sunflower made me feel like I was getting a first-class education, I learned a lot and left feeling like the money I spent was worthwhile. I brought a full set up and was walked through it by the coffee guy, Nick. He's really funny too, I felt the same feeling I had when I brought my first car! I got a beautiful glass pipe with a Grav add on, its made with glycerine inside so it can be chilled in the freezer to give a smoother pull. I also brought a Mag Blunt, guys seriously THIS IS THE FUTURE at 40 bucks I highly recommend it. you never need to buy paper again, but even if you still wanted to you might as well get it here because they sell the REAL AUTHENTIC RAW papers and products even Tees. You always know the raw product is authentic when they carry it in every form, said a gentleman who was in the store buying paper at the time I was shopping. I also brought a tray that had a beautiful design, and it got better because when I got home and took off the magnetic lid and under it had papers, hemp wick, stickers and all types of other little goodies( I was just winning all day) I recommend anybody from any borough to stop by this place! Told him I was a regular and that I've always paid that price as well. I was still wrong. If you want to charge more that's up to you, but you have to put a new price on the product. Because if you put a price on something, people will expect to pay that and if you pluck another figure out of thin air (without telling them and just short changing them) then it looks like your swindling people. And well, customers don't usually like being swindled. There are friendlier and much nicer places nearby, so will use them instead from now on.

So I found Wyse Vapes on Yelp and wandered in this afternoon just to do some window shopping and maybe get a gist of what this whole vaping thang is about. Am I glad this was the first vape shop I went to, because Wyse Vapes is fabulous!!! First of all, the place is clean and airy (pun intended)--customers talking vapespeak and pluming away at the long spacious counter notwithstanding. On the left behind the counter shelves and shelves of e-liquids line the walls like a candy-colored apothecary. On the right in glass cabinets are a plethora of e-cigarettes, hookahs, box mods and vaping contraptions of all shapes and sizes. I must've looked like an idiot cuz I stood there bewildered and overwhelmed for what seemed like an eternity. One of the staff (Tanya, bless her) didn't make like a pushy salesperson and quietly waited behind the counter. But when I got over my initial discombobulation and asked for her help, she went above and beyond to show and explain the difference between (oh heck can I just call these doovalackeys "vaping gadgets"???) and let me test drive a few. With the patience of a saint she answered all my questions, even when I had to ask repeatedly (okay so I'm not good with mad scientist Rube Goldberg-esque stuff). Martin (the other staff guy) was equally helpful and neither of them made me feel like a dork for being a vaping noob. Tanya helped me find the perfect combination of atomizer & tank system. I was still overwhelmed by the sheer volume of e-liquid options, so I went for two basics: Sweet Tobacco and Blizzard, both of which I was allowed to sample at my leisure. The prices are fair and comparable to what you find elsewhere. Sure I could probably get what I got for $5-$10 less online, but let me just say that for the amazing customer service I received today, not only is that price difference negligible but it's well worth it. I went home happy and have been blowing smoke rings and geeking out with my new toy. No doubt I'll return to Wyse Vapes soon...if not for new e-liquid then for an extra atomizer cartomizer thingee or maybe even a bigger better box mod! Plume on, Wyse Vapes!
