I opted not going for any of the "kooky" combinations advertised as they looked WAY too sweet for me. There's only 3 soft serve flavours here. Vanilla, chocolate or twist (vanilla + choco). But in terms of coatings/dips, they have a TON. I spent a good 15 min deciding which dip I wanted to go with. The owner (I presume) was the one who took my order when I walked up to the register. He highly recommended that I opt for a waffle cone if I was going for a classic dip (I was leaning towards just getting a cup). He was so adamant that he threw in the waffle cone for free! Super nice guy and great customer service! Got a medium size, chocolate soft-serve with extra dark chocolate shell/exterior. These scoops are very generous. I prolly could've done with a small tbh since I was SOOO FULL after dinner loool. OMG, they're so fantastic! Lots of filling, a little more tart with using raspberries, which is a nice change from a butter tart... After reading other reviews I wish I'd bought some of the butter tarts! Oh well, there's sure to be a festival next year! At least I hope so! Staff manning the booth were all very nice and friendly. Plus, Beverley's was one OF ONLY 2 vendors offering samples.... The lack of samples available was a real issue. The Queensway BIA should mandate samples. With 6 costing anywhere from $10 to $20 for SIX, samples are mandatory, so you know before you spend so much money, whether you like them! Goddess of grammar signing off...!

It has been popular among locals since they opened in 2008. The prices are quite reasonable at $3 for 1 scoop and $4 for 2 scoops. Even banana splits are only $5. All prices include taxes! We had a 2-scoop cone: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Pralines & Cream. Both scoops were creamy and tasty. My son really loved them but I did manage to get a little bit of both flavours. There is some savoury food served too like hot dogs, fries, poutine, and coffees. It is owned by a husband and wife team: George and Irene. Both are very pleasant people. They love having fun signs such as: "adults must be accompanied by children" and "children left unattended in this store will be sold to the circus". You can only pay by cash or e-transfer. There is no phone number because I can see they are extremely busy. You can still contact them via social media. There are picnic tables outside. During pandemic times, all staff and customers wear face masks and there is plexiglass used. Only one family is allowed in the small order area at a time. Just outside the entrance, you can be entertained by a famous saxaphone player, Orlando (a Cuban), during nice the afternoons. Today (2021-09-05), we were lucky to also have a guest keyboardist also from Cuba. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair  accessible. You can use a washroom by request. The ice cream sold here is Kawartha Dairy, so that bit is pretty standard. But the servings are pretty big & a single is only $3 and a double $4, including tax. So it's cheaper than going to a Kawartha outlet They only accept cash & etransfer. The guy is pretty friendly, though there were some ice crystals in the ice cream.
