It was my first time at this location in Scarborough and I instantly turned into a super happy kid walking inside! One of the staff approached us and offered a free sample of their new flavour Maple which was an immediate thrill! The ambiance in the store was magical and I felt like Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. My eyes were already eating all they could see around the store! So much to choose from and since it was my birthday my friend treated me to the Pick & Mix deal of 15 for $12. This is what I got: *Pistachio x2 *Milk Mint x2 *Milk Orange x2 *Dulce de Leche x2 *Snickerdoodle *Raspberries & Cream *Coconut *Maple *Milk Dark 60% *Milk Dark 70% So much fun choosing from the colourful wrapping and flavours! This Lindt outlet store is the closest one to my home. It takes roughly fifteen minutes for me to drive over to this store. The store is close to a pho restaurant and McDonald's. Just look for either one of these restaurants in Markham Road and keep driving in until you see Lindt. The store offers a variety of chocolate bars, individually wrapped chocolate balls, and gift boxes. There are often pretty decent deals. I come here just before Christmas to get my chcolate fix and gifts. If I need a birthday gift, I always find a fitting one here. There are typically free samples here. Go for them! I mean c'mon, what's not to love about Swiss chocolate. Sales associate (Megan) was delightful, great personality and very welcoming. It is a holiday in Switzerland today (apparently) and we got an extra discount on all sorts of decadent chocolate, including my favourite, Mozart kugeln. Mmm mmm. This store doesn't get a perfect score because it doesn't have as much variety that the Shop at Don Mills one does. For one, this location doesn't have hot or cold lindor drinks which I absolutely adore (try the iced hot chocolate, it's like drinking rich and creamy melted chocolate ice-cream). However, this lindor store redeems itself because it has the best deals. Like all lindor stores, when you stroll in they greet you with a chocolate truffle. During the holiday season, sometimes you get to try more unique flavors that aren't the OG milk chocolate one. If you haven't tried the coffee one, you should. That thing is amazing. This lindor store is more generous than others because if you buy a bag of assorted truffles they'll let you grab a few more as a bonus. How nice is that? I also would like to mention they handed out their bunny shaped chocolates (the larger one,not the mini) one year after easter. I usually come here after buying a wagjag/groupon deal where you get $30 worth of goodies for paying $15. I then take said deal and use it to buy the huge 5 kg bags of lindor couverture chocolates for baking. The bag is usually around $50! I combined it with a 25% off discount card that a store handed to me once so i only paid 15 for the wagjag and 6.29 in additional cost to cover for the remainder. Free sample when you walk in (fist pump) Not sure if they do this all the time but if they do then technically I can have free Lindt chocolate for life. There were so many flavours that I never even knew existed. All the flavours are pretty decent because its a Lindt but nothing beats the simplicity of the original red packaging of milk chocolate. If you want to choose your own flavours its $5.99 for 8 chocolates (100 grams). BUT WAIT A MINUTE The cheap Asian within me got to calculating and it turns out they sell pre-packaged bags of 250 grams (20 chocolates) for $8.99 - milk chocolate flavour only. That means even if I purchased 16 individual flavours I still get 4 more in the pre-packaged bags and its cheaper too. Well it was a no brainer for me. I went with the pre-packaged bags of original milk chocolate. More chocolate for less money. I recommend the same for the rest of you who plan on making a visit. If any of you find any better deal mathematically in this store then you need to let me know ASAP read more

Lindt Chocolate - the bar usually cost about $2.50 when they're on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart, and that is quite often. So why in the world world would I go to the Lindt Chocolate Boutique and pay $3.69 for one? In addition to Lindt Chocolates they have a small section of Ghiardelli's hot chocolate mixes and squares ($0.49 each). Most of the round chocolate balls were $5.99 per 100g - is Lindt a subsidiary/parent owner of Bulk Barns? Because they sure practice the same pricing tactics. I had a $20 voucher from Team Buy in hand and thought it was some deal. My parents wanted to buy some dark chocolate and bring it to Hong Kong for my relatives because its not as common over there. When the girl rang me up, I owed a whopping $50 on top of the $20 voucher that was already applied. For the amount of chocolate I got (which was not all that much, probably about 4 x 250g of chocolate) - it was not cheap. For these prices I probably could've bought fancier and more artisanal chocolates from say Godiva. I think I'll take Jennifer K's advice and come back post-Easter for their huge sales. Its sad but I think I've gotten better deals at a department store or chain for Lindt Chocolates than at this "boutique." read more

I rarely get out to the suburbs, but this morning saw me doing a little field work in Scarborough. The crew was just heading back to the office when my weary eyes spied something interesting as we zipped along Markahm Road: "OH MY GOD, a Lindt chocolate outlet!" As the driver/crew leader is a fellow sweet tooth, he immediately made a hard right turn into the plaza. In our muddy field clothes, we entered the chocolate shop with much excitement. I was expecting a true factory outlet kind of setting - cardboard boxes of seconds and damaged goods - however, the Lindt warehouse is pristine and bright. What you'll find inside are Lindt chocolates and products from its affiliated brands, Ghirardelli and Ricola. Lindt bars and bonbons, bags of Ghirardelli squares and tins of Ghirardelli cocoa were about the same price as you'd see elsewhere, although the selection was much larger. The real bargains were to be had with the bulk goodies. This would be the perfect place to stock up on a large volume of chocolates if you were putting together something like gift baskets or wedding favours. The full-sized Lindt bunnies were $1.65 each or $16 for 16. There were 500g bags of Lindt mini bunnies or fondant red-foiled eggs for just $5.65. These are really for Easter, yes, but they are definitely not stale! The 500g bags of fondant dark chocolate hearts were around $10. Also, 500g bags of mini Madagascar 65% cocoa chocolate squares were $5. There were more deals to be had but I can't remember what else there was. The specials probably change seasonally, anyway. I bought a box of 18 mini bars (37g each) of Ghirardelli Caramel squares. That's 18 lunch bag treats for $8.13. A steal! I hope this information will be of some use to the other chocolate fanatics out there! read more

This is a Lindt Boutique that is not located in any mall, but a store front of it's own. Inside the store, I'd say the ceilings are pretty high and feels very comfortable to be in. It has adequate parking space, even on super busy nights such as midnight madness. My favourite part about going to any chocolate store is their free sample in the front. Lindt chocolate is super smooth and velvety to the taste. i'd recommend coming here around Christmas or Easter, especially when you see the specials that are online - e.g. teambuy, etc. for $15 for $30 worth of chocolate. There are assorted chocolates, boxed chocolates in multiple sizes and their seasonal chocolates - Christmas, Halloween and Easter being their top three biggest annual sales. read more

I always pass by here when going to school and I finally went in for their Christmas in July sale! EVERYTHING in the store was 50% off regular price! Excellence bars were only $2.25 + tax! I personally find their milk chocolate way too sweet, so the excellence bars are my favourites. Here come the cons: All the excellence bars with fruit (pineapple, orange, line zest, strawberry, etc.) expire in October 2017. That's less than 3 months! These are the regular priced ones not the ones that are marked down because they expire in 2 months! I asked the employee if they had some that expired later and she said no. Maybe they put out all the ones that expire soon for the sale? On the shelves for the excellence bars, there were a lot of these paper cartons designed like a suitcase used to carry the chocolate bars. I put one in my basket. When I went to checkout, the cashier without asking or anything just took it out of my basket and put it away. She continued to shake her head at me. You can at least tell me that its not for sale. She never said anything throughout the transaction. No basic manners either. The customer behind me had a basket full of Lindors. While the customer was waiting for me to finish, she was sorting them into groups of tens so that the cashier could count them easier. The cashier asked her "What are you doing?". The customer explained that she thought sorting it would be easier for the cashier to count. The cashier said "No need! I weigh them out anyways!". Well the customer was just trying to make things easier for you, no need to be that rude. All in all, service is terrible, but prices and chocolate are very good. read more

It's probably one of the worst Lindt store I have been to, mostly because of the customer service!!! I usually buy their chocolate boxes to gift and 100-150 prices at a time for my family when they are on sale and this is the store I go to. This time I took my 3 1/2 year toddler (tiny for her age) to shop as she was excited to chocolate shop. Like any other toddler she was super happy and followed me around picking her candies. And I kept telling her hat we can't take candies without paying. However, for a split second while I was paying, my daughter went and exchanged her free chocolate she got (red milk chocolate that you are offered at the door) with a pink one. Sales lady "Manjula" starts raising her voice and says to her "you are not supposed to do that". At this point in time, I asked my toddler to apologize to the lady and gave the lady the pink candy my daughter picked. As I'm talking to my daughter and explaining why we can't do this and take stuff without permission...Manjula says "do you know that's called STEALING and when you steal we CALL COPS".... what the fuck!!! Who's tell a toddler that they would call cop when their parents are explaining things to them!!! My toddler was super frightened by this experience and was in tears!!! She has never done this before and got reprimanded by a stranger!!! My daughter and I apologized after I calmed her down!!! I AM A PARENT and LET ME PARENT my child!!! Manjula (who looked like a old lady) should know not to talk down on little kids (a TODDLER!!). I am very disappointed by this experience and unwilling to ever spend my $65-100 per visit again at Lindt!!! Lindt- please put your employees through customer service training, especially dealing with young kids. And perhaps put a sign up saying "no kids allowed". read more

I will definitely not recommend this outlet to anyone. First of they don't have good sales, the store is very tiny, and the manager is very rude. According to my experience, other Lindt outlets are much bigger and have more variety of chocolates. Also all the staff members are very nice compared to the manager. She was very rude. You walk into a chocolate heaven, literally chocolate everywhere! The prices are less than retail and they often have pretty good deals going on. The staff are friendly and ask if you need help and explain everything to you. It's a nice experience, it's a clean store with good pricing and amazing chocolate. read more
