They did a really nice job at creating a spray. I gave them a call and chose from one of the photos online. Because flowers are seasonal and Monroe is a small town, I asked what they would best be able to execute. The lady that answered the phone was extremely helpful. She was patient and assured me that the arrangement would be beautiful. I appreciated her help. The arrangement was great.

This is what $100 plus taxes and delivery will get you. Disappointing! :-/

We went to our local florist in the Seattle area to order an arrangement to be sent to a family member's funeral in Monroe, LA. The cost of the arrangement itself was $125, prior to taxes and fees. I'm sure the florist must not have expected us to ever see the flowers, for what else would explain the fact that our $125 got us a bunch of carnations, baby's breath, and unopened lilies plopped in a vase in the most simple and mundane arrangement possible? I'm TERRIBLE at flower arranging and could have done a better job than this. After we got home, we let our local florist know how bad the arrangement was, and they reached out to Brooks Florist to discuss it. Brooks was completely unsympathetic, even a bit snotty about it, and refused to credit back anything for the less-than-lackluster work on their part. DO NOT TRUST your care and dollars to this florist. Your loved ones (and you) deserve much better. read more

I asked the owner to name her price for an outrageously beautiful arrangement for my mom's birthday. She said $75- $100. I said let's do $100 and be sure it pops. They add taxes and delivery fees, so the $100 is strictly for the arrangement. The arrangement was disappointing. Aside from some roses that were pretty open on day one, the other flowers were inexpensive looking. My mom thought I paid 1/2 price I usually do. When I explained this to owner, she hung up on me before I finished speaking. Really poor experience all around. I wouldn't even post this if the lady had not hung up on me. Rude. Rude. read more

I have used Brooks Florist for decades. Four times a year they provide flowers and some additional services I request for my father and mother grave site in the Monroe Mulhearn Cemetery. The staff at Brooks either on the phone or in person have always been kind, caring and professional. The flowers and products they have provided have been the best. They seem to take care to ensure I receive what I order and the kindness that is involved in the placement of the flowers at the site. I know that I pay for this service and they are a business but my relationship with them has always from the first day till now seem to be one of a business that really cared about my feelings and my parents resting site. I have an ill relative and wanted to send her something before she goes into surgery. I got this shop by word of mouth and I didn't know their hours (I live in another state). The woman that answered the phone expected me to schedule my relative's ovarian cancer because it was almost closing time. Very unprofessional. read more

It was my aunt's birthday and I wanted to brighten her day. Heather answered the phone and was pleasant from the moment she answered. I had many questions - she was patient with me and she happily answered them all. Heather explained that I could purchase a floral arrangement through their website, but I really didn't have time to browse so she took pictures of the arrangements they had in-shop and texted them to me within minutes. I was able to pick a very beautiful arrangement and process my order over the telephone. The whole process took 8 minutes!! He insisted and said he was not going to listen to me complain about their services and that he was driving over there to pick them up. He was raising his voice at me. I was in a gift store and the surrounding people around me could hear him from my phone and it was not on speaker. He refused to do anything for me, lower the price, bring different flowers, he said all he was going to do was go pick it up. Said something like he would have his flowers back. I asked him to please not do that. I said please have a heart and don't ruin someone's special occasion, and he said he was going to go pick them up because I complained. The people in the store I was at could not believe what they were hearing. This is very disappointing. I then had to call the recipient and tell them that someone was coming to pick up their flowers against my wishes because I had a complaint. I will never do business with them again.
