The selection of unusual (not sure if they're "craft") beers is pretty amazing. I have fairly narrow taste as far as bee, but I can experiment all I want with the beers available there. I'm not a wine drinker at all, but they've got wine out the wazoo. My main reason to go there is because they have the Scotch I prefer (Speyburn). The staff is really friendly and helpful, even with really small orders. It's been around a long time and there's good reason for that. I was in this store several times in the 1980s while in the wholesale liquor business in Kansas. At that time it was one of the biggest volume stores in the state, not just in Salina. Cary Brooks passsed away about six years ago but the business he founded in the 70s lives on. I stopped in this afternoon while passing through Salina and found Brooks Liquor to be clean and well-stocked with competively-priced merchandise and a helpful, friendly staff.
