This is a hard post to write because it is such an odd mix of things. We camped here 3 nights and…read morehad a huge issue with our sites that we reserved. Site 29 is a nightmare to get a camper in. There is a drop off and alot of trees. It is doable but takes a lot of navigation and tree spotters. However we decided not to use it because if someone took the lot across the narrow road it would be a nightmare to get out. So we switched sites. The problem with that was not being able to get ahold of anyone who could switch our sites and the worry of moving and taking a site that is reserved is scary. So we changed our reservations to confirm we could have the sites. That is the ONLY way to do anything if an attendant isn't here. And we only saw one in 3 days for a few hours. Most of the lots are extreme grade so be aware. Also take extra cord and hoses. Not many sites have water or electric within 25 feet from your camper. Some of the electric and hose hookups are running near fire pits or weird places. They are shared also with the camper next to you. We were lucky to be camping with another couple so we could use their fire pit instead of ours which was littered with both hoses and cords. We saw many people come in and laugh about how the site was deceiving online with what you could fit. Especially with all the trees and drop offs. So they switched and I guess one got mad and just left. 33-28 have the steepest dropoffs near the back of the pad. 29 looks long enough to get a camper in but it is tricky with trees and a dropoff before the pad. This is one we originally had. 28 is just weird with a steep dropoff and sometimes water in the creek that you run electric through. 31 & 36 have the fire pit near the electric and water. But 36 is pull through. 3 is pull through and does not share water or electric but is on the corner. It sounds like a lot of complaining so 4 stars? Well it's nice once you find a spot. Bathrooms are clean and everyone camping here is super friendly. We would come back but we are prepared now and know what sites to pick for next trip. So, yes we would come back. But if you would have asked us the 1st night we would have told you we would never come back because it was hard to get it all straightened out. Which is why I am writing this long review. So ya'all know what to be prepared for.

It would be nice if they had a better communication strategy and would get the darn thing open!!! Grrr.

The sites are huge offering a fair amount of privacy when enjoying your space and mostly level. Trails are fabulous but marked less than we are used to and with obvious horse traffic (we didn't see any) we aren't accustomed to but still a beautiful view around every turn. Our T-Mobile hotspot worked great giving the added boost we needed to do any work or surfing. We will be sure to stay here again as an option for visiting distilleries on the Bourbon trail!

It was the best date I've had in a while, as we went over a vast amount of information from each other's lives that night. Of course, it was a wonderful time...and the Art was the second best part of the night as to me He was the most beautiful thing that night. If you know me, then you know I love art and free and this is exactly both!…read more I go here any chance I get to see what new art pieces are put up and when you walk in there are pieces to your right then you go the left and there's a wall projected of live footage of you but with letters falling as if it's a mirror, very entertaining and interactive then you keep going down the hall there are pieces hanging up in the conference rooms and when you get the chance to go downstairs there are multiple rooms to go walk through and even the restrooms both upstairs and downstairs have art as well! Once I went when they had Korean based art and it captured the beauty of the oriental style in a modern look and there was a story telling room where each art piece told a continuous short story which was such a neat concept! Last night when I had visited my partner and I got greeted by Darrel the security guard and he was very friendly and accommodating! Art can make you think, smile, and even laugh! I'm glad I was able to laugh at the beaded and sequin piece last night, it's eyecatching and makes you stay for a while.

The home is an incredible historic building on the iconic St James Court street in Old Louisville. The street is gorgeous and the Inn is right in the heart of it, right by all the beautiful fountains and blooming trees of early spring. There's a small patio on the front porch that, during nicer weather, you can sit and take it all in. My room was VERY comfortable, with a huge plush king sized bed, a spacious bathroom with heated towels, and stocked with toiletries and small bathroom appliances. I was only in town for 30 hours for a work event and by the time I got back to the inn that night I was EXHAUSTED. I slept like a baby. So much so that I slept right up until I had to leave for my flight the next morning, meaning I missed the included breakfast. But the offerings sounded fantastic. Pat is a wonderful, gracious, and warm host. I'd recommend a stay here in a heartbeat and look forward to my return.

A few changes since the last time I was at this winery…read more First off - NEW OWNERS! The previous owner had passed away and his wife sold the property and winery. They were lovely people and based on my recent visit, sold to lovely people. Onto the wines - I believe it was $8 for 6 wines. I had a hard time narrowing down their choices to just 6 as everything sounded so good. The Vidal blanc was the first wine the new owners had completed from start to finish and it was absolutely lovely. They had a delicious selection of dry reds as well. The Kentucky roots was my favorite in this section. The cab was smooth as well. We ended up sitting on their patio and had several bottles of the summer nights. We all had a hard time picking out wines to take home. Needless to say, we will be coming back as the future seems bright for this family and the winery.
