I was only here one night so my experience was short. Sites are level with 50Amp. Easy to find and close to road. To bad it is so close to I-65 that all you hear is traffic. I thought the park was ok however my husband hated all the restrictions. No dogs peeing in bushes, or grass or anywhere that was not marked. clean up after your pet or be evicted, no room to put out the awning or lawn chairs to sit outside. Very noisy even though we ran the a/c. No grass, no getting comfortable, but an entire sheet of pet restrictions. Won't stay again. read more

If you do not have dogs or kids or you dont care about giving your money to total jerks, or space to put your awning out then this is the place for you. The owners are not just unfriendly but hostile. The 1 star is because..well...you cant give any lower, but also the drive through spots are flat and cheap. On the weekend the access road also serves as access to a flea market and the only 'dog run' is across that street in the grass that borders the road. It is maybe 4 ft wide and slopes down to a barbed wire fence. Seems dangerous. It is clean though if you dont count warning signs as litter..because those are absolutely everywhere. Standing in one spot I could see no less than 9 warning signs scattered about advising you of impending eviction if your dog is allowed in or near the shrubbery. read more

It's typical these days for an RV park. Close to Louisville and Bardstown.. There is a lazy river and boat rental near by. Almost across the street. The highway makes it annoying but ya can't hear the cars with the ac on really. Very clean but with 65 sites you would think the shower house would have at least two stalls. No fire pits or picnic tables. Strict rules for dogs but nothing complicated. Are they rude? I always give people who have to deal with people the benefit of the doubt. They were nice enough over the phone. Stayed two nights. Wifi is iffy they were not clear on which of the networks belonged to them as we came a bit late and they left the rules at our site. read more

We only needed a one night stay here. As we were passing through Atlanta the traffic was horrendous and it took us four hours. We called them to let them know we'd be late. They stayed there until we got there and in the pouring rain and dark, helped us park in our spot. They were very friendly and helpful. Let me begin with the only good thing about Grandma's, it's close proximity to Louisville, that raps it up. This is nothing more than a parking lot with spacing as close as you could possibly make it, with slide outs encroaching on the next space. It is filled with long term trailers, a lot of construction workers, who seem to spend the majority of their off time drinking, smoking, making noise and being totally inconsiderate and rude. Zero wifi, the noise from the Interstate traffic is obnoxious and it is located right next to a giant flea market that is open on weekends, filled with people that like flea markets. Several of our friends had stayed here in the past so we could get together, but none have wanted to come back, their description of the place is "it sucks", and it does. Grandma's is a last resort, bail out place to stay. We would rather stay in a Walmart's parking lot. as a side note, if you're a trump supporter, you might love this place read more

Simply an overnight for travelers. Yes they are close, but for over night or a couple nights, it's an easy on and off I65. Most easy on and off interstates all over the US are noisy, so not a big deal for us! We will stop again! read more

This park offers the basics for sites and services at a very reasonable price. The roads in the park are paved and the sites are gravel. The sites are a mix of back in and pull through and all are very close together. The park has a decent bathroom, shower and laundry area with a working wifi. The range of the wifi may not reach to all sites, but you can get on the wifi if you are close to either the office or the bathroom/shower building. The park is just off I-65 making it a convenient base to explore the Louisville area. The weekly rate for us made the average nightly rate less than $30 including taxes. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights I definitely would not recommend. Your packed in like sardines, barley enouph room to put the canapy out, your front door looks at your neighbors sewer and gray water disposals. We booked three months in advance, letting them know we had 3 children with us and we still got the sardines can site. So so disappointed in this place. read more

The only reason this place gets a star is it is very clean and convenient to the interstates. Sites are very tight, the awning would almost touch the rig next to ours. Very few trees in the park, no shade for our rigs. Makes for a hot stay in summer months. Now for the staff! We talked to one gentleman, who was accommodating and seamed willing to work with us. When we made our reservation, we informed them that we would like a few weeks but may need more time, possibly a month or more. To that we were told should not be a problem. When I checked in and talked to the hostess, here comes the attitude! Very hostile, not willing to work with us, sites all booked out etc, given every excuse in the book why we couldn't. As she was going through her registry, page after page was virtually empty, I would have to believe they do not want to honor the monthly rate, only wanted the daily and weekly rate pay. Even charged a cleaning deposit, which was never made mention of when we booked. As I was out walking one morning, I could not help but noticing all the warning signs that was posted. These signs were not the kind "please pick up after your pets" we have seen at so many other location, these were threatening signs. Threatening eviction if your pet goes to the bathroom in the park, or if you don't clean up after them. I counted 12 signs in a relatively small park. You were not even allowed to walk you pet in the park! My wife one day was walking our dog, on the only acceptable location, a busy public roadway that services a flee market, with a narrow slanted shoulder to barbed wire fence. The old man that owns the place came and was yelling and cursing at my wife! Saying she didn't pick up its waste, which she was holding in her hand! Told us that we were going to be evicted and forfeited any funds we had paid. He would even stalk people as they walked their pets to make sure they picked up after them. I personally seen him stalk our rig, for whatever reason. One morning as I was walking our dog, I was talking to a mixed race couple, very kind older couple, just stopped for the night. As we were talking about their rig (beautiful rig by the way) he informed me that the the old man threatened him with a shotgun if he caused any trouble. They just kept their mouths shut and moved out very early as to not be there when he showed back up. They were willing to just move on after a few hours of sleep. Awesome couple by the way, pleasure talking to them! They are developing the land behind the park for development, so when are they working the equipment? Evenings and weekends. The one Sunday we stayed, my only relaxed day, we had to listen to bulldozers and backhoes all afternoon and evening. Not many choices in the louisville area, sad that this is one of the very few to choose from. Next time we drive through, we will not be stopping here. And that is defiantly a shame! read more

Worst rv park we've ever stayed in and we live in our rv full time. Every person that works here is unbelievably rude. I emailed them to check availability because I called 4 times throughout the day and no one answered and they emailed back saying no available spots. About 12 hours later when we arrived and my husband asked for a spot they said sure of course. The spots are TINY barely room for two cars because of the poorly located tree they thought would be cute in the middle of a spot... well my car is covered in bird poop from said tree because the only place to fit my car is wedged up against the tree. There is also a randomly placed concrete pad which I thought was a car pad so I parked my small car on it. A week later some guy is banging on my door while I'm in the shower so I jump out put a robe on and open the door and he says you have to move your car right now before the concrete breaks! what? Also no apology for the fact that I was soaking wet and in a robe. In TX or OK no man would have continued to talk to me, they would have apologized and asked to speak to my husband when he is home. No manners. They say they have WiFi. THEY DON'T. Let me repeat. THEY DO NOT HAVE INTERNET. There are 2 $2 washers and 4 $1 dryers. Horribly inconvenient to have only 2 washers. They are rude about picking up mail, they are rude about where you park, they are rude about their lack of internet, and most importantly they are rude about pets. They say they are pet friendly. THEY AREN'T. We have a husky and to him it doesn't matter if you are in a 39 foot trailer or a 39 room mansion, he just wants to be outside. He doesn't bark, bite, or do much of anything actually, he basks in the sun and sleeps. And some lady banged on the side of the trailer at 6pm after the dog had been outside since 9am and said your dog can't be outside if you aren't. Mind you the door has been WIDE OPEN since 9am and I am sitting less than 5 feet from said door and can watch the dogs every move (of which there were few). Our neighbor got kicked out because their dog barked one single bark. Unbelievable. The office WREAKS of cigarettes, disgusting. They have signs posted throughout the park and laundry room with many misspelled rules, super embarrassing. UPDATE 6 DAYS LATER: Every morning I walk my dog up and down the rows which ended with the grass patch against a barbed wire fence which they called the "dog walk". Today dog & I left my rv, and the old man and his grandson were spraying pesticides on weeds directly outside our rv. I said hello and he glared at me. We got through 3 rows, looping back as we passed our own rv. The old grump approached me and said "you are NOT allowed to walk the dog in the park" to which I said, I am not allowed to walk my dog on the paved roadways in the park? How does that make any sense at all. He said your leash is longer than 5 ft and you aren't using the dog walk. I said, where does it say my leash can't be longer than 5 ft and as you can see I am on my way to the dog walk. He said dogs aren't allowed anywhere near the trees or bushes! (The park is literally covered in trees and dead bushes). He said don't you read the rules? I said the rules are plastered literally everywhere and they all say no dogs without a leash, no dogs left outside overnight, and clean up after your dog (as I hold a poop bag in hand). So I will not be buying a shorter leash because you said so, why don't you tell me to reel in my retractable leash instead of yell at me? At this point he called me a "F***ING B**CH" and to get the hell off the property. This is an old man in his late 70's. Who speaks like that to anyone let alone a young woman? Bottom feeder old man hillbillies. I called my husband at work to call our neighbor. Neighbor came over and asked me what happened and I told him and he said not 30 mins earlier I walked my dog (his dog is 3 times the size of mine and a tad unruly) the exact same loop through the park on a leash that is certainly longer than 5 ft and he didn't say a word to me. So he went over to talk to the old scrooge and you know what his response was? "DAMN RIGHT I CALLED HER A B**CH". I never finished my walk so I went back out to finish walking my dog and I came back and the old man was standing outside my rv. My intention was to ignore him. He yelled at me "I saw your dog piss on that tree!" I ignored. "Do you hear me you b**ch!?" I did not ignore. I yelled. He said tell your husband to get out here I said it is 11 AM on a Thursday he is obviously at work. And he said again to "get the hell off his property". My husband left work as I frantically packed the rv. Husband was not happy. Luckily he did not lay hand on the old man, mostly because he's so old one blow would've killed him and my husband doesn't need a murder charge. I'd give no stars if I could. The bad reviews on here are total truth! April is apparently considered a winter month, so you're not allowed to keep your water hooked up past 8pm (really puts a time crunch on for those outage workers that don't get to the site until 7:30). The WiFi signal is a zero, even if you're outside. Not worth the money, but not many choices in the area. read more

Please do not stay here! You're not safe! This park is constantly patrolled by the 80 year old owner who obviously suffers from dementia. Every single post you're reading here is true. He is sadly unstable. He confronted my boyfriend and I while we were cleaning out our camper. We had stacked a few boxes outside, filling them with disposable items. We were sitting outside taking a short break before taking the boxes to the dumpster when the old man pulled up in a teal geo tracker (I'm not kidding) and was yelling and cursing at us before he even got out. He called us hogs and told us we weren't normal. We never raised our voices or used vulgar language and tried to explain to him we we were in the process of taking those boxes to the dumpster but he went on yelling that the dumpster was full (it wasn't, in fact it was completely empty). After several minutes of a rant I told him he had to leave, that we would not tolerate his tone or his language. That's when I went online and saw these other reviews and realized this behavior has persisted for at least 4 years! We decided it wasn't safe to stay so the next day we began packing up to leave when the old man came by again. My boyfriend told him "don't even start," and the old man replied "what did I do?" He didn't remember the confrontation from the previous day. This man is a danger to himself and others. I'm honestly concerned for his safety. I'm worried he will role up on someone who will not care that he is an old man suffering from dementia. We heard he has family there and I cannot believe they do not do more to protect him and his business. I understand this man is a veteran and I would not want to see him end up hurt or dead when he pops off to a person who is as unstable as he is or for someone who has to hurt or kill him to defend themselves. Save yourself the trouble and go 3 miles down the road to KOA. It's more expensive but the property is beautiful, the staff is amazing and you don't have to worry about being assaulted by a poor old man. read more

Wonderful place to stay! We were there for 5 months while my husband did a construction job in the area. This is by far one of the cleanest RV parks we have stayed in. The owners enforce the rules to ensure everyone had a pleasant stay. I really enjoyed having laundry facilities on site. The only negative is the dog walk is across the road. On weekends the flea market traffic makes it dangerous walking your dog. read more
