During her breast stroke her feet that were the size of canoes kicked me as she passed by. She did not apologize or acknowledge the kick until I waited for her at the end of my lap. Come on people, if you have a wide erratic breaststroke kick, switch to dolphin kick as you pass by your fellow swimmers. Each time she passed me I could feel the kick come within millimeters of my body. She left a bruise and made my swim a negative experience.

I actually scheduled swim lessons for our daughter, Emmy, with Krista before we even moved here! Emmy started lessons when she was 2, continued again the next summer at 3, and this past summer our son Hayes joined in at just 1.5 years old. Krista has such a gift with young children -- she's patient (yet firm), calm, and knows exactly how to make them feel comfortable and confident in the water. We've seen incredible progress each summer. Both kids have not only learned essential water safety skills, but they also love being in the pool now.
