Went by 2.5 weeks ago to get an estimate just a 4x4 section of my truck roof only for painting. Said bring it in Monday and pick up Thursday. No one called me all week so went by Thursday and boss guy NOT Brookshire said having a "hard" time and for sure first of next week. having ruined my weekend plans in this vehicle; went back following Tuesday to pick up. Same guy says maybe by the end of the week. I said NO; WHY FOR JUST to paint a 4x4 foot section? Said he could not give a lifetime warranty and I said why?; u give the a quote. Shook hands and said Thursday afternoon for sure. Wife picked it up last Thursday at closing since I was working late to leave Friday morn on trip. Had to be in Charleston so left Friday morn before light and got to the coast having smelled paint fumes all morn. Daylight showed WORST job ever - paint overspray on my sunroof and on rear fabric tonneau cover, grinding dust all over interior and interior smells like been in a paint warehouse for two weeks with windows open. Called them back from Charleston and they said drop it off for 15 mins and we make all right LOL - not in this lifetime. Bottom line; they kept bumping my small job for big insurance jobs. Save yourself much hard-ache; DON't go there PERIOD! read more

The shop recently changed ownership, and whilst my decision to enlist the services of people whom I didn't know for a big repair job was met with some trepidation, it proved to be one I would not regret and I am happy to say that I would still heartily recommend this shop to anyone with challenging car problems. Michael and Heather, the new owners, make a great team and treated me with respect and professionalism. They gave me a very competitive price for replacement of a head gasket and resurfacing of the heads in my 2004 Honda Civic EX with 1.7L VTEC, an invasive and expensive task which requires extensive disassembly and attention to detail. Not only did they stand by their original quote and get it completed in the forecasted timeframe, they also went above and beyond expectations by taking the time to answer all my questions and investigate other issues, both related and unrelated. Though I initially had some questions and concerns about the performance of my vehicle after getting it back, they didn't once hesitate to discuss them with me ad nauseam and worked to address all concerns at no additional cost until I was sure I was satisfied. In the end, I feel I got more than I paid for because of their perseverance in this project and the way they treated me as a customer. Anyone with a vehicle of this age and its multiple opportunities for failure could benefit from having a team like this on their side. Most mechanics can handle simple, routine service just fine, but big repair jobs on old cars rarely go as simply as planned and often require a special blend of dedication and skill, things that Brookshire Service Center enthusiastically bring to the table. read more

my 2004 Acura TL was having electrical problems, thought to be caused by water getting into the front column through rust above the windshield. since the car is not valuable, we decided to fix the rust and hope it worked. Brookshire Collision took a filthy car, fixed the rust, blended the paint with a 14 year old navy metallic PERFECTLY, & even fixed a bumper that got torn off on the right side by a daughter learning to drive. i recommend them to anyone considering body work!!! read more
