In most stores I have visited, the restrooms are less than ideal and in some cases, downright disgusting. The morning of my visit (10/17 at 07:00 am), the restroom at this Supercenter in Bowie was clean. You could say it was in excellent condition. A "Well done" is deserved to the associate who cleaned this restroom. The rest of the store? This is a game changer :D There are freezers full of delicious frozen offerings, fries, jalepeno taters, fried pickles, etc, and we grabbed a few to try. Also, there is a wall of quite the selection of local honey, jams, etc. BUT the real gem, the raw meat counter was chock-full of incredible cuts and varieties of meats! We decided to try to the cordon bleu chicken and brisket poppers this trip, as well as an 18 pound brisket, YUM! The employees were ready to help with any questions and even handed us a basket when our hands started to get too full. So grateful! I will note for future review readers, there is about a 4% card charge. Apparently there are signs that I missed while I was busy bouncing my eyes from product to product, so I ended up having to call once I got home about why the receipt showed a much high price than the label on the meats. So, the price label on the products is the cash price, totally understandable! In conclusion, Wise Choice exceeded our expectations on meat selection, and they even have Diet Dr Pepper and Topo Chico (I didn't have to run to Walmart for sodas! Woohoo!). Thanks team!!

Their "Texas Kitchen " has food to go or dine in. I had not planned on doing breakfast here, but they offer huge portions of well cooked food. I got a breakfast plate which was so generous I could not finish it all. The employees are friendly and helpful, even taking your groceries to your car. They also offer curbside pick-up. I have been in several other smaller United grocery stores which were great, but this one is much larger and offers more. At home we have an excellent grocery store popular in Texas and known by three letters. But if this United grocery store was in our town I would shop here.

Oh my, Where to start…read more This used to be my favorite Grocery store. Thank God I don't have to shop here anymore. For the past couple of years, hubby has gotten the dark chocolate fondant white cake here for his birthday. The bakery here used to be excellent. This year hubby wanted that same cake so we came to order it & I showed her the photo of it & she told me they don't make them anymore. She couldn't tell me why. So hubby looked around & saw a gorgeous "Tres leches cake with fruit" and he LOVES that so he said "I don't care I want this one" so we bought that one. However, while we were there I was also looking at the fresh baked breads & they were all really small & kinda deformed. That means the staff aren't PROOFING the dough long enough. It's not rocket science. However, pandemic slackers, no one wants to work, bla bla bla, I can imagine no one left here is smart enough to know how to bake. To Management: "The only employee that has ever been helpful & mentally capable of running anything is the employee "Ronnie" who ironically owns a food company. I bet he could run the bakery. Just a thought." Anyhoo, we get the cake home & it said: "Tres Leches FRUIT Cake" on the label, but turns out, it was a Tres Leches cream cake with no fruit. So the label was even wrong. Luckily, Hubby LOVED the Tres Leches cream cake, even better than the Tres Leches fruit cake he occasionally gets. So no harm no foul. All turned out well astonishingly. However, having only one excellent cake is not enough to make us return anytime soon. Please fix the bakery. Bring back the dark chocolate fondant white cake.
