First things first, I love the products in stock and the constant deals! Also, Alexi was beyond helpful, polite, and patient when I called... twice, haha. my Uber Eats driver was being incorrigible and refusing to ask for help when there were definitely items that I requested they were absolutely in stock. I called to confirm, and this gentleman was able to validate me and did so in a swiftly and Darling Manner. Extraordinary chain, but I am particularly fond of this location. But they mark down bakery items that need to be sold that day (yet they still taste good/fresh). So it's a great way to save money. I just bought there stuffed clams and all I got was bread crumbs or cornmeal, no clams. I've eaten stuff clams all my life and I have never tasted anything more disgusting. Absolutely no clams. I will never shop here again just based on quality assurance Update: After 3 weeks I decided to give it another shot. Same results. Sprouts is an interesting addition to Denton. They cater to those looking for a healthier lifestyle and have a lot of organic produce, but you don't feel like you'll get the lecture that's probably coming at the Cupboard. The location is on the smaller side and a majority of the product is more expensive than other grocery stores, but runs the same or a little cheaper than other health food stores. I've been in a few times, usually looking for one specific item, but I got to look around a little more this weekend. Right as you enter, their bread and pastries are on the right. This is my jam! I love their bagels and variety of muffins made daily on the wall, they always get my attention. I find the packaged bread to be way too pricey, but their loaves are a good price at 2 for $1. This is followed by a café, a butcher and leads into their produce section. The bulk section is in the middle and vitamins and supplements are on the left. The café serves up juice blends and coffee. I was surprised that their sandwiches start at $3.99, build your own, and the paninis and wraps started at just $1 more. They have Boars Head starting at $5.99. I also saw a small salad bar with olives and peppers when passing by. I haven't tried them out yet, but I was relieved that their prices weren't outrageous and would try them next time, if the line wasn't too long. They have a section of premade meals closer to the front that seemed to be in the $4-7 range, not too bad! I haven't spent much time at the butcher, but the selection looks good. Right in front of that display, I was pleasantly surprised to see their roasted chicken was $6.99, that was more reasonable than I was expecting. The other meat prices are still higher though. The dairy prices are a little better than Natural Grocers and the Cupboard, though quite a bit higher than other grocery stores. They have a nice, large variety of almond milk, which was what I needed on my first visit. The bulk section isn't as wide or reasonably priced as other places, so I will stick to Winco for now. However, I noticed you could get everything from rice to candy, I just thought the price per pound was pretty high. The vitamin and supplements section wasn't as varied as I was expecting. It was large enough that you could grab something you needed with the rest of your shopping, but you wouldn't get the best brand and price selection. Their essential oils are pretty limited too. However, I was interested in their homeopathy section which had a free guide available. That's always cool, but I couldn't tell how that section was priced. Now the produce- wow! This is one store where I can say the produce smells delicious and awesome every time I am in there! It looks good, the prices are really good and there's a lot of color! It seems like a huge variety for the square footage dedicated to it and they have a tropical section! We tried rambutans for the first time this weekend, don't recall seeing those at Kroger, lol! This store also has a lot of gluten free product to cater to the rising GF community. There were plenty of items here without gluten. They also had organic honey, and lots of healthy options to choose something different than your average grocery store. Overall, they have a great offering in their limited space and it's a neat place to visit. If you do nothing else on a visit, check out their great produce! read more

Don't get sandwiches here the time it takes for one person to make a sandwich astounds me. Came here from out of town to get some groceries and a sandwich. Ordered a sandwich first and went to get groceries. When I got back 15 minutes later he guy was gone and my sandwich no where to be found. It defiantly wasn't busy at the counter in fact there was only 1 guy there. If someone comes to get a sandwich make the sandwich then go on lunch or break. Don't waste my time waiting around for you. I love this Sprouts and my life has changed now that they are in Denton! That may be a little over-exaggeration, but I do love it and go there weekly for groceries. There produce is always great quality and most times cheaper than Walmart. Huge selection of produce. They have great sales and Wednesday is double ad day! The store is always clean, well-lit, and laid out nicely. Every visit the employees are always extremely friendly and even happy to help me find things. They have a large deli section and even an olive bar with fresh soups. Bulk section is the best around. They have good selection of organics and dairy free items. So many good things to say about Sprouts and never any complaints. If you have never been than you need to give them a try. You will not be sorry and may even send me a thank you message :). We had been waiting for Sprouts to open and they finally did! It's not a huge location but they have a good variety of things. I love their bread section, lot's of interesting bread and pastries that you don't always see at other grocery stores. Their section of nuts is one of the better I've seen, you can find almost any kind of nuts that you can dream of. Their butcher section is good, they have a good selection of both raw meats and prepared chicken and steaks that you can just cook / heat up yourself. Their organic section is so much better than regular grocery stores. Not quite the size of Whole Foods but lot's of variety. They have nice options, they don't carry all the brands you may expect to see at a regular grocery stores but they carry a lot and have a lot of interesting variety. It's a perfect when you want something different or just get something quick. read more

I really like this Sprouts. I wasn't a fan initially because I felt that I couldn't find 100% of my shopping list here so I still needed to hit the standard grocery store nearby but I soon learned that I was doing it wrong. Now, I see Sprouts as a supplement to my standard grocery shopping. I was setting myself up for failure by trying to mis-cast Sprouts into the role of primary one-stop-shop grocery store. It's a specialty store. For example, this are the things I reserve for a Sprouts trip instead of the standard grocery store: 1) Tomatoes. They have all types of super fresh tomatoes: , organic, big, small, yellow, green, red, etc. I really like the huge heirloom varieties. 2) Sprouts / Alfalfa. It's difficult to find these in the typical grocery stores. They always have a few varieties such as broccoli sprouts, onion sprouts, and pea sprouts. They are fantastic on top of salads. 3) Onions. They have huge, fresh vidalia onions. I've often noticed fruit flies on the onions in the other stores but these are always very clean and fresh. 4) Sweet potatoes. This is what converted me to a Sprouts shopper = they have purple sweet potatoes. These quickly became my favorite variety. They are more dry and a bit more firm that standard sweet potatoes and they have a flavor that is more earthy that falls somewhere between a regular potato and a typical sweet potato. They are great! Of course, the store has tons of other fresh products from hot lunches at the deli counter to gluten-free cereal to herbal supplements. Give Sprouts a try if you are look for something a bit different - just don't expect to fill your grocery cart with your entire shopping list. read more

New to Texas and drove 40 miles to the Sprouts in Denton for the first and last time. I will never shop at ANY Sprouts again, nor will any family member. They would not let me enter the store without a mask even thou I said I couldn't wear one. This is the first time since Covid Fake Plandemic was announced that I've been refused entry anywhere because of no mask. According to the American Disabilities Act refusal to allow someone access to a public place (open for public patronage) a first time report comes with a fine of $75,000.00 and $150,000.00 after that. Management should think about that. The competition was all too happy To have my business and will continue to do so. Went to Sprouts early this morning and found everything I needed. They had plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, really good selection of deli meats and fresh artisan bread. Best of all....the store is doing all it can to make shopping safer. All the employees were wearing masks and when I first entered the store, a masked employee was waiting to direct me to the carts she'd just cleaned and sanitized. I wish I could continue to give this Sprouts a 5 Star raiting. But, for the second time in a row I have been very disappointed in the full Chicken meal for $11.99. Both times the deli has not replenished the heated display. The chickens are plntiful...but there are no sides from which to choose. I asked for gravy both times, been told they don't have any available. The adv above the display clearly shows potatoes, gravy, 2 sides, French bread and iced tea. They are also listed as included in the entire meal. If you consistently, cannot serve complete meals, do NOT advertise so. read more

So generally, the fruit is better than anywhere else. Except mangoes. Mangoes are always hit and miss here. The meat is similar hit and miss. We've had pork that went bad too quickly, however, so we tend to only buy what we'll cook that day. read more

I liked Sprouts, elsewhere. This store has serious issues. After a couple of months of giving them a chance I had to give up on buying produce here. It all goes bad within a day. Seriously, I wasted so much money before I had to accept either their sources are bad or they don't know how to handle produce. Like throwing money away. Bulk foods? Achh! I bought roasted, salted cashews. Organic, meaning expensive. They smell like they were roasted in fish oil. As a vegetarian, I wanted to throw up. How is that even possible? Fish oil? Still, they do have the broadest choice of quality yogurt. So they serve a limited purpose. That's as fair an opinion as I can present. read more

We shop here weekly. Positives, very friendly cashiers, helpful staff in the vitamins section. We rarely wait to check out. The store is clean. We have stopped using the deli counter however because we always feel like a nuisance. My wife waited for over 10 minutes on one occasion for deli meat, got mad, left so I had to go back and wait another 6-7. We were seen by several staff during this time. On another occasion a staff member rolled his eyes and huffed when I approached. I used to order sandwiches here but this has also stopped due to the length of time it takes. I always feel like I am a burden using the deli counter so this has stopped, staff are never friendly there. We go across the street to Kroger for deli now. read more
