My name is Dr. Rachel Brooks, owner of Brookside Chiropractic. I received my Doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in December 2014, and Master's in Nutrition in 2015 suma cum laude. During my studies I focused on functional health principles. I furthered my knowledge with hundreds of hours of seminars in topics including Applied Kinesiology, blood chemistry, whole food nutrition, enzyme therapy, dynamic neuromuscular re-education, brain chemistry, digestive health, and Acupuncture.

History

Established in 2016.

I started practicing in St. Louis, MO to learn more about my specialty: Applied Kinesiology and Functional Medicine. After two years, I decided to move back to my hometown. I bring my experience in chiropractic, nutrition, bio mechanics, blood chemistry adn more.

Meet the Business Owner: Rachel B.

I have three primary goals in providing care: 1-Identify and remove what is interfering with the brain and body being able to communicate with each other. 2-Stabilize and balance bio-chemistry (inflammation, blood work, hormones, immune system, etc.) 3-Identify a nutrition intake specific to your needs I do NOT believe in a cookbook approach to health. Each patients body functions differently and has different needs. I use a variety of tools such as blood work, symptoms surveys, consults, chiropractic, fitness challenge groups and Applied Kinesiology to identify and treat each patients individual needs. We treat ALL AGES! Everyone has a spine so we treat as early as pregnancy.
