Laura the director and Stacey the assistant director are wonderful. The directors are really what made me choose this center over others in the area. These people help their staff, students and parents (they don't just sit in an office all day). They actually know each child who attends their school which I did not get on any other tours we had with other preschools. My son (who is 3) has been at KinderCare for a few months and he is gaining a lot of new skills and learning. If you are just looking for playtime and daycare this may not be the place for you. We were looking for more of a preschool curriculum, and they have not disappointed. The teachers really care about teaching your child. They also have some really cool programs like Soccer Shots (which costs extra). My son gets to take soccer classes while he is in school. They also have a basketball group as well, but we just did soccer for now as he loves it. We currently attend 3 days a week (half days) so they offer a bit of flexibility with schedule (and this helped our budget as well). Meals (breakfast and lunch plus snacks) are included in tuition.

This is my experience and I wanted to share it. Here are a couple pictures that show the school was short staffed, the business closed earlier then our contract stated, and I was charged double along with all of the other parents during my childrens enrollment. I had to show bank statements proving I was double charged as they were confrontational when I brought up the issue. Per other reviews, Jackie denied everything and was not apologetic for any of these problems. I have a post on NextDoor going and it is amazing how many other families have had similar issues. Read the reviews, check on NextDoor, and check on various daycare sites before making the decision to send your kids here.

Then when I meet my kids father he tells me the new director Jasmine told him my kids can not come back because of them crying. I have been there for a long time now and ever since Genesis the old director left, there has been nothing but problems. Over the last month I have been told that my kids couldn't be there due to not having their inhalers that were not expired. Ok, fine. Took me a week to get them. So thats a week they weren't in their care. Then I get them and give them to the school the exact way I received them, only to be called and told to come get my kids due to the boxes not having the labels on them. Ok, called the pharmacy and had to have them printed so the kids could go back to school. Another day out. Then they are there for a week and this is what happens today. Aren't you the ones who should k ow how to calm a tantrum? Don't you're employees go to school and get training on how to handle a tantrum? Then, when I speak to the new director she tells me, " oh I know, I'd be mad too if I was being told this as a parent." Then when asked if they tell all the parents there that they're kids can't be there if they're crying, Jasmine states we are not able to handle it." I am beyond mad and will admit that I did fly off the handle a bit. This place has gone to crap. ​

We love La Petite Academy of Westminster. My 3-year-old son has been going there since he was six…read moremonths old. The teachers are patient and kind with him. They know he loves to be active and move around, so the try to tailor lessons to fit his interests. If it involves dinosaurs, they know he will participate :) I feel good leaving him there every morning. He has friends and knows all of his teachers' names. He also enjoys their cooking, which is a plus. I like that the facility has live cameras so I can check in on him throughout the day. His teachers are also good about posting updates in the app, including photos of his activities, how much he ate at lunch, how many times he went the bathroom, etc. Overall, I can't recommend La Petite enough!

I have two kids here and we started over 4 years ago -- I've had a kid in every single room at this school, from early infant to private kindergarten, and many of the same teachers have been there the whole time. Our boys always have wonderful time with Primrose. With caring teachers, wonderful staff, great curriculum, our boys have been growing into very confident, caring, and loving kids. They love their teachers. They love to make friends. They grew up with some good friends from infant classrooms to Pre-K or Kindergarten and they still have play dates and miss each other outside of the school. They love circles times and small groups everyone. They have learnt so much in school and often amazed us! Primrose has been an important part of our life in the last few years. We trust this school so much because we know our little ones would have great time there everyday. And if they have any issues, there are someone caring in school who is going to take care of them and to discuss issues with us. There's a much more polite way of saying no than rubbing in someone's face that there are 100 other wealthier families ahead of you that the owner could accept without having to be bothered by such a pitiful situation such as yours. She could have at least tried and/or spoken to me with a shred of dignity, instead of patronizing my already stressful situation. It's no one's fault that academic postdoc positions pay peanuts, and this should not be a hindrance to early-career scientists being able to focus on their science. Capitalism at its finest here, people. If you're comfortable with someone like this watching your children, then by all means, send your child here. If you want human beings that view others as equals and are trying to make the world a better place with their actions, seek another facility.
