While we are disappointed that the director recently had to step away due to medical issues, we know that the school is in great hands with Heather, Sabrina and all of the teachers. I love the care and support that my son receives at Little Sunshine's. He always comes hope happy, with a smile on his face telling us of all the activities each day. He is flourishing under their curriculum, learning new skills daily. I would recommend them to any parent in the area!

When I toured the facility with Heather in April, she outlined a specific classroom, schedule, and program for my almost five-year-old. However, upon starting, he was placed in a different classroom with a mandatory one and a half to two-hour "quiet time," which I had explicitly stated would not work for him. While he was temporarily moved to the correct classroom for July, I was informed at the end of that month that the classroom would no longer be available full-time in August. This schedule change had reportedly been known since April but was never communicated to me. Furthermore, due to teacher call-outs, they again wanted to place my child in the classroom I had stated was not an option.  Heather previously indicated she would check with corporate regarding a refund after I pulled my son from the program. However, after a week of trying to reach her, I was informed when I stopped in person that a refund was denied because a "rotational class" was offered. This rotational program still requires him to return to the classroom for the two-hour nap time, which directly contradicts the promises made during my initial tour. They have also had numerous people leave in the month and a half we were there and Heather tried to blame the miscommunication on people that had left. However, she was the one who did the tour and the only one I ever talked to so the miscommunication was with her. There are so many options in this area, I highly suggest looking at one of those!

The environment is calm, warm, and thoughtfully prepared to support independence, curiosity, and confidence. You can really feel the Montessori philosophy in action--from the way the classroom is set up to how the teachers speak to the children with such respect and intention. Our child has absolutely thrived here. She's become more self-assured, responsible, and excited to learn. Every day she comes home talking about new things she's discovered--from world geography to practical life skills like pouring her own water and caring for the plants. It's beautiful to watch her take ownership of her learning and feel proud of her accomplishments. The teachers are incredible--attentive, nurturing, and very in tune with each child's individual needs and growth. They foster a strong sense of community while honoring each child's unique pace and personality. Communication with parents is clear and consistent, and you always feel welcome to ask questions or be involved. In terms of value, Broomfield Montessori offers so much more than just childcare--it's an investment in your child's early development and well-being. And they participate in Colorado's UPK program, which helps make this high-quality education more affordable for families. That kind of access to a true Montessori experience at this level is rare. If you're looking for a school that values whole-child development, emotional well-being, and purposeful education, this is it. We're so grateful to have found Broomfield Montessori!

I was left in a bit of a pickle when the day care we had been using for several years advised us…read morethat they would be discontinuing their school age program and we had just 2 months to find summer care for my 1st grader. First off, calling ANY La Petite is ridiculous. They answer the phone with a cheery song which threw my off guard, and they will always tell you they have availability at all the locations regardless of if they do or not. I scheduled an appointment for the Thornton location, the director called later on to cancel the tour and I asked if they did had availability and she said no. I said the call center stated they did, she says "yeah, they always say that". So I moved on to the next closest location, Broomfield. This time I bypassed the call center and found the center number and called them directly. I spoke with Kim, the director and scheduled an appointment, she stated that she prefers people to schedule tours with her anyway rather than call the center. I asked if she had availability over the phone and she confirmed that there was space available for the summer program. I show up for my tour a bit early and the assistant director was able to show me around, the day care itself seemed clean and very nice. Kim showed up and seemed confused, she asked if I had scheduled a tour with the call center. I reminded her that I called and talked to her directly. She seemed to just brush that off and move on. She gave me costs and when I again confirmed availability the answer was different now. "We'll, I have to see, I have some families that might go on vacation and are supposed to get back to me and I'm not sure" I was prepared to pay the fees to hold a spot but she really was unable to give a strait answer about anything and told me she was going to follow up with some of the families that day and get back with me by the end of the week. End of the week, no call. I called the following week I believe on Monday and left a voicemail, no call back. I called again on Wednesday and spoke with Kim, she still had absolutely no idea if they would have space in their summer program but told me she would get back with me again before the end of the week. Do you think I got a call back? If I did I wouldn't be leaving this review. I did not call back and never heard a single word back from Kim. She clearly did not care what so ever and I wish she would have just said so the first time I called so I didn't waste time out of my morning to tour the day care when she had no interest or intention of enrolling my daughter. Maybe the day care is nice. I added one star just because the assistant director was nice and the day care seemed nice. Otherwise I would just give one star for the poor communication and poor professionalism of the director.

We met with Denise and Amanda and we were so impressed with the facility, we signed our kids up right then and there. We love the variety of their education and how they move from classroom to classroom. We love Make Believe Boulevard (an indoor mini city where the kids can use their imagination to play, complete with a slide and ball pit), that Spanish is taught, they do learning bags on Fridays that the kids share an item of what they learned that week and hands down we both love the interactive LEAP Digital board and corresponding LEAP books. The teachers are amazing, very hands on and compassionate. Jelena and Liz in Toddler 2 class, our 2.5 year old absolutely adores. When we first started, we expressed how we wanted our then 2.5 year old potty trained, and within 1 week after attending there, she was. They were so patient and kind with the potty training our daughter took right to it. Corrie in the Pre-K class is so friendly and patient with the kids. Our 5 year old always came home with new songs or ideas she learned from Ms. Corrie. We were so impressed and just love all the staff there: Denise, Amanda, and Samantha at the front are super friendly and do whatever they can to accommodate your family (our youngest is in speech therapy). There are so many great things about this school and the wonderful teachers I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for quality care for your kids.

For the price, we were displeased with the amount of off days during the year, no provided food, and shorter hours compared to other schools. The director had 0 leeway on this policy and you can imagine how heartbreaking it is to be out this money as a brand new family. The school's focus on profit and lack of empathy reassured us that we made the right decision. Shame on us for not communicating sooner and shame on them for profiting off new families trying to navigate the daycare system. I remember seeing one teacher with two or three kiddos on her lap reading a book. I just loved seeing that unexpected sweet moment. You could really see that the kids trust and love their teachers. Our daughter was a little over 1 year old when she started and both she and I had some big emotions around starting a new daycare. Right off the bat, we appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the day. I know when my child has an "off" day and I love seeing photos of her interacting with the teachers and kids throughout the day.
