I got my zebra shark done by him in 2023 and it's not raised at all. You can run your hand over it and not even feel the ink. He was so attentive to the details and anatomy that I mentioned were very important to me. When I went in 2023 I was of course nervous but going this time around I had full confidence I was leaving with a tattoo I would love. I got a hammer head done by him yesterday to mirror my other shark and again, it was perfect. He took so much care to make sure I was happy with the design and was very meticulously on my placement so I'd get the perfect tattoo. Today I have no swelling and it barely hurts, you can also just barely feel the tattoo itself. Just overall he's a great artist and the shop is full of kind and vibrant people. The store front was visible from the main road and you'll see "TATTOO" in large lettering but their personal sign next to the door was a bit hard to see. I couldn't tell if it was"Guys & Dolls" right away until I saw the red sign next to their entrance. The parking in the front was very limited but i found a sign that said there was parking in the back and found a parking spot right away. Their shop was clean and the woman that greeted me was friendly and helped me out right away. I signed a waiver, paid for my piercings and she recommended an after care product that I purchased also. While she went to prepare the piercing room, I hung out in the waiting area and enjoyed the tattoo magazines on the side table as well as all the art up on the walls. I was in the piercing room in no more than 10 minutes. I had a girlfriend come with me and the process was fast and easy. My piercer was sanitary and professional. I asked for a female too. I had a great experience and would recommend this shop to anyone getting piercings done

My daughter is a super anxious person and gave the lady a run for her money. The owner was SO patient and understanding. I imagine it was a frustrating experience for her. I'm incredibly grateful for how calm she was and how well she explained the process to my daughter. My daughter ended up not getting it done. I got pierced again instead. When my daughter is completely ready I'll definitely take her back.

Once inside, I waited nearly 20 minutes while the previous client -- a minor with a parent -- lingered in the room chatting after their service was already done. There was still another client ahead of me, and it was clear things were moving slowly. I started to get anxious about being late for work (which I wouldn't have been if the shop had opened on time), so I politely asked if I could just purchase the jewelry and change it myself. The lady at the counter was kind and helpful, even checking my nails to see if I'd be able to manage it. I had no problem paying nearly $80 for the jewelry -- the quality is great. My issue is with the lack of professionalism and time management. This shop is run by one person, and it shows -- there's no sense of urgency, and clients' time doesn't seem to be respected. What really rubbed me the wrong way, though, was how my first review was handled. Instead of taking the feedback in stride, the owner posted it on his personal Facebook page and used it to fish for more positive reviews, all while making me out to be the villain. I have very evident facial scarring and disfigurement from a severe years long bacterial infection. Facial symmetry seemed completely impossible to me, but Athena had no doubts that we could achieve vast improvement. She is compassionate and encouraging, explaining everything she is doing during the process and makes you feel at ease and comfortable. After only one session I have seen dramatic results. I am much less self conscious and regained a lot of confidence in my appearance.
